I had been in nearly constant pain from an arthritic knee and a shoulder that had been agonizing at times. This shoulder no longer has any cartilage, and I was told by an orthopedic surgeon three years ago that I need shoulder replacement surgery. I've been putting off both this surgery and knee replacement surgery for years, and simply trying to endure the agonizing pain. Although I would take ibuprofen and prescription pain medication at times, I was reluctant to take too much. I was always overly cautious with the amount I was taking. I began using this product last week. The result is miraculous, to say the least. Actually, I'm astonished by how much pain relief I have experienced since the very first capsule, and have taken absolutely no pain-relief medication since I started taking this turmeric product. I will eventually have the needed replacement surgeries, but until then I will use only this product to control my arthritis-related pain. Without a doubt, this product is exceptional and I will never be without it until I'm brave enough to have the recommended surgeries. I highly recommend it.

I've been buying Nutricost products for years. It's right up there with NOW as far as good value on single-ingredient supplements. But the last couple products I've ordered, including this one, have been poor quality. The capsules are completely dry and crumbly, and falling apart. They're cracked, chipped, busted open, and the powder all over the place. The B-5 I recently got was the same way. Unfortunately, unlike the white B-5 powder, this Tumeric is a mess, and completely stains your hands or anything else it gets on! You cannot wash it out either. Idk what's going on, but I will have to stop ordering their products, especially their Tumeric, if this continues.

This used to be 1 tablet per day and all 500 mg of it was 95% curcuminoids. The new product is 3 tablets per day and mostly just turmeric root powder which is not nearly as beneficial. This was my go to turmeric for multiple purchases but no longer. Very disappointed. I will look elsewhere.

So Nutricost change the 500mg turmeric curcumin extract (95%curcuminoids) that costed almost 20 dollars per bottle (with 120 servings each one) and now we have regular turmeric with only 50mg (95% curcuminoids) per capsule for the same ''expensive'' price? that's a big and bad twist. No more turmeric from Nutricost if the don't decide to return to the old formula.

I have bought these 6 times. This last time I bought them I found that they have changed the formula! They used to be 100% of 95% curcumin extracts, which is why I bought them. Now their is only a tiny percentage of 95% curcumin extracts and the rest is plain turmeric. Plain turmeric is hardly absorbed by the body at all. Nutricost totally cheaped out on this product! I will never buy this turmeric again and I will be asking for a refund. I don't recommend using this as it is hardly beneficial at all. Instead look for turmeric that is fully 95% inch extract and not just a tiny percentage of 95% extract.

Upon opening the bottle, it was clear that the capsules were brittle. Some were chipped where the two halves of the capsule meet and the turmeric leaked. Now, each time I get out a capsule I have to wash my hand to get the spilled turmeric off. Not a fan of these capsules.
