Very simple to put together. Two pieces. Quality is ok. You get what you pay for. Just don't go jumping onto it. Seems like it may not hold up to rigerous activity. Sitting on it is comfortable and the width is large enough and has enough room. The instructions said comes with extra hardware. There were no screws what so ever in the box. The only place I saw that needed screws were the box were the handle has the pull to open the foot lift. The box came right out of the chair and could not be reclined without being screwed to the chair, so we got creative and did it ourselves. Now it works perfect. Looks cute too.!
Everything is good but the color. It's a light brown compared to my couch but it's good.
Recliner is small for a big person, but comfortable for me @5'9" and 180 lbs. I would not fit if I were wider. My legs extend out over footrest. I find it very comfortable overall. Like the color, arrived on day specified and in good shape. Not extremely well made, but very serviceable.
For the price of the chair it is a very good deal. I have only had it a couple of days but have enjoyed sitting in it watching television. It is not the most luxurious chair but I was not wanting to spend the money for the luxury. I love the mechanism that is used to operate the foot rest. It is like the ones I have in my living room and so much better than the old fashioned handle kind. I would recommend the chair to anyone wanting just a basic recliner.
I had heard about this recliner frlom an acuaintence and decided to try it. I do not usually by a big ticked item site unseen but after reading the reviews I decided to gamble. I am completely satisfied with the chair and would recommend it to anyone. A great buy for the money.
When this recliner arrived at the store, my husband picked it up and I was so excited to get my new chair. My old one had fallen apart due to age and use so I was looking forward to using a new chair. I have severe arthritis and need the recline feature to elevate my legs and feet. The color sage is nice and the appearance is just what I was expecting. However, the release mechanism for the recliner does not work no matter what we tried to do. We checked under the chair to see if everything was connected and it appears to be. I had expected the chair on the 11th of April, but it did not arrive until today, the 14th of April. There are no other chairs like it in any of your stores in my area so I am now without a workable chair until I can return it to the store and wait until the 21st of April for a possible replacement. I am very disappointed with WalMart on this purchase.
The price was fantastic, so I took a chance and bought it for my husband for his birthday. We have had it for two months, and so far, I have no complaints. I cannot recommend it for a very large person. It does work very nicely in a small room, particularly in a corner. My hubby is not a tiny man at 6'1'' and 200 lbs. He is happy with it, and makes a nice chair for him to watch his sports on TV. He declares it is comfortable. Be aware it is not a rocker. I am concerned about the push button leg supporter, otherwise I would give this a higher rating.
We bought the chocolate brown chair for my fiancé. The overall color of the chair is great but the overall profile is smaller than most recliners. Assembly was easy; however, do not expect to get "years" of use out of this chair - it is not a high-end manufactured product. We would recommend it for a student's dorm, first time apartment, if you are on a budget. It is a good chair, and with care, it will serve it's purpose.
This recliner arrived last night and I returned it this morning as it is just way too small. I had purchased this chair for myself. I'm a 5' 3'' woman and wear a size 10 pants and the seat of this chair was so small I had to sit on the arms of the chair, as well as the seat. A 2 liter pop bottle just barely fit across the seat of the chair. I'm including a picture to show this. ( Not sure why the picture keeps rotating sideways, as on my computer it has correct orientation ) I found this chair to be very hard and uncomfortable, as well. The fabric of the chair was nice enough and it was easy to put together, as just had to slide the back into place. The chair would probably be fine for a child, but definitely wouldn't recommend it for an adult. Maybe I just got a chair that wasn't properly made to proper size...I don't know.
Pros: It looks just like the picture. The footrest release is easy to access. The footrest pops out quickly. Cons: The footrest takes too much force to push back into place. Sometimes you need to try twice. If the back of your ankle scrapes against the bottom of the footrest, then the sharp edge will catch on your foot. The fabric seems like it would wear down quickly. The sides of the chair have a cardboard backing, which you can feel/hear if you tap on the sides. This makes the chair feel "cheap."
