You can use whatever ice cream or if you like gelato in these cinnamon dust dessert shells. Just keep an eye on them when you heat them up in the oven. Mine first batch got a little burnt. So the next time I changed the temperature on my oven then by what the box tells you to put it at. They turned out just fine.
Sooo good. Add chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Yum.
Brought by kids up on Choco-Tacos. These are exactly what they used to have, but makes a nice version. One day I am going to find the time to put ice fream in and freeze w/ chocolate drizzle on the shell edge to make them better. For now, just put ice cream in and drizzle sauce on top. Can be messy, but what is good usually is!
These were a big hit with my family for ice cream. Everyone loved them! The bad news is that every single shell was cracked or broken. I will be buying them again and hoping the quality is better next time.
unfortunately about half of the shells were already cracked, and the taste was not as good as expected. the taste factor is solely on the company that makes them, and the broken shells could be from either the initial packaging or the transit to Walmart from the company making them, or could be from stocking or improper handling by either workers or shoppers while at this Walmart location, or possibly during their grocery delivery. there's no way to know, so I absolutely do not blame Walmart or their employees for this fact.
not sure what i was thinking but its exactly as described. corn tortillas dusted with cinnamon sugar. i just maybe thought it actually tasted more like the cereal. not a good combo to me.
Received these in a mailing package, box inside was crushed and of course shells were CRUSHED beyond use. Common sense would tell someone to package them in a BOX!!
These tasted stale. Not a good crunch. Also very little sweetness. Tasted like a dried up taco shell. Come on Old El Paso you could do better! This was a good idea gone bad. I would NOT RECOMMEND…. I actually returned them.
The box was smashed and the shells were ruined.
item arrived in a smashed box and all the shells broken to pieces
