i have been seing these vitamins in stores but the price on them was high so i went to walmart site to see how much they were and they was half the price in stores good vitamin
I have taken this multivitamin for years. The only side effect that will become annoying is if you go without taking this multivitamin for a while and then start back, you may throw up. So with this being said, make sure you eat something light first before taking it.
These vitamins are just what I needed. After having 2 babies back to back hard to get excersize done after work and diapers. But once I started taking these one a day I have the energy to do my excersize and hopefully get back down to pre- baby weight again;)
This was the multivitamin I chose for my weightloss journey; I'm 55 lbs down so far with just 5 lbs to my goal weight and I'm healthier and feel better than ever. With the change to my diet I was worried about losing nutrients and not reaching the recommended daily amounts for my age/gender. I used to drink a lot of milk, so I was never concerned with my calcium intake. But with cutting out most of that milk and replacing it with water, I became worried about losing the calcium my bones needed. While I've never had a broke bone, osteoporosis does run in my family. So the added calcium in this women's vitamin knocked that worry off my list. While I'm unsure of the benefits on metabolism, I do know that the caffeine in it works. I used to have a problem with feeling tired in the afternoons. I take this every day around noon/lunchtime, both as a multivitamin and healthier mid-day pick-me-up alternative to coffee, soda, and/or tea. Another plus is I never feel a crash off this like I do with caffeine loaded drinks. I will say that I noticed pretty early on that if I did take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, that I would feel sick for a while after, so I have to have something on my stomach when I take it. I would definitely recommend this multivitamin to anyone, regardless if they're actually trying to lose weight or not. It's a great health benefit and alternative to looking for a caffeine pick-me-up in liquids that may not be so healthy.
I have been taking these vitamins for the past 5 years or so. I can definitely feel the difference in my energy level when I miss taking one. The major downside to these vitamins is that I get terrible migraines when I try to stop taking them altogether. It has the same effect of trying to quit drinking coffee.
I choked these horse pills down for a week and half. That's all I could manage. I usually have zero energy all day but when taking these it gave me a much needed boost that lasted all day. I was able to work out and get things done during my day. It also perked my mood up and I did not experience any crashes. The only downside is that the pills are SO big. I can take pills... I just can't handle swallowing these monster pills. I really wish one a day would have an option of smaller pills, granted it wouldn't be One A Day anymore but I also wouldn't feel like I'm choking when I would swallow these.
There is was: the little greenish blue box upon the top shelf. I stretch my legs to reach it and investigate, for it was too good to be true. “Women's active metabolism.” My phone rested in my back pocket and it called my name (not really). I whipped it out and Googled every review I could get my hands on to find out what this product was and how it would be beneficial to me. This was the answer I had been searching for might be contained within this cardboard packaging. “Did people actually lose weight on this product?” Yes. Yes, many of them claimed to have. “But my body is stubborn for some reason.” Yes, yes it is. Anyway. I decided quickly my fate. In one sweeping motion, I put my phone back in my pocket and the item into my cart. Fast forward this fairytale to the reality of now! And gooOOooOo! Sigh. Might as well say this. This is NOT marketed as a weight loss product. Repeat: It is NOT marketed as a weight loss product. “But people claim to have lost weight!” Yes, because this product does EXACTLY what it claims to do on the box. It boosts your metabolism, so you have an extra surge of energy anytime you take this supplement. The caffeine content is 120 mg, which is more than a small cup of coffee. It is NOT a miracle lose it all in 30 days pill. It gives you the energy to get up and move. It is also a multivitamin. My experience with this supplement, personally is: For the past month, I haven't been taking this pill every day. From the time I started till now, I found out I have a tendency to store far too much iron in my blood, which has over the years affected my weight and caused some other minor health problems (just issues losing weight; it can cause diabetes, but luckily, I have not had my cards dealt that way). This Daily Value of this supplement just in the iron department is 100%. Of course, everyone is different in their needs and such, but having the doctor point out too much iron is a wake up call to my health and taking this just for “weight loss” as it isn't marketed as was a sure fire way to get my butt kicked. By the way my body reacts to things. Painful. In the past three weeks, I have lost five pounds. This is a collaboration of efforts from every so often taking the pill so I can get housework done, going for one, two, three mile walks every day, every other day, and cutting back on what I eat. Drinking coffee (it has low iron) gives me that jittery energy boost, whereas taking this pill doesn't give me that jitteriness. Both however have an effect on your blood sugar, so whether you are diabetic or simply have reactive hypoglycemia, use caution when using this and make sure to take it with a meal. If your body tells you you are hungry, even just a little bit, eat something. (I got really sick one day because of this. All was well until bam! it wasn't.) Caffeine is also a diuretic--so drink plenty of fluids (half your bodyweight in ounces) to make sure you are doing fine. If you go out and exercise, definitely make sure you drink water. As this tale comes to an end, I am still taking this supplement, because it does what it says, and a quick boost isn't bad. If you know your limit on things, definitely try this. It isn't a miracle pill, so don't take it thinking you'll lose 100 pounds. Put effort into becoming healthier and take care of yourself. Taking this won't hurt, but it won't solve everything. Individuals with hemochromatosis should be aware of their bodies and what their needs are. All in all, it's a really good product. I would recommend along with bettering diet and being more active. Also, I would warn against drinking sugary drinks like Dr. Pepper and even a small coffee succeeding the consumption of this pill. I didn't know I had superpowers until I took this and now the mayor of my town is trying to figure out who the midget Flash is. Shh. ...it was an honest mistake.
I don't see all the hype about this, it don't speed up your metabolism like ppl said, I have been on it for about two weeks now, maybe it gets better with time...I hope.
I bought this about a month ago and I feel hungry and I feel like I can eat but if I eat too much first thing or not enough I have aweful nausea and like I need to throw up. Overall it's an okay product but that feeling of needing to throw up is so over whelming almost making me want to stop taking this product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been taking the one a day for women metabolism for two days and it make me super tired and also gave me and upset stomach and nausea. This product may not be for me but that doesn't mean is not for you.
