I am so happy with this Onn car mount. The mount fits so easily into my car vent and stays put! It doesn’t flop around. When you are going to place your phone it automatically opens the sides to place your phone in and then closes Automatically on your own phone to give it the best made for grip. My phone doesn’t slip out at all. I can be totally hands free and see my phone. I know exactly where it is and it doesn’t fall on the floor or on the side of the seats. It plugs into your charging outlet but then provides wireless charging. Two of the best things in one device.

When we first got this we were unsure how to loosen the grip so that we can place our phones on to charge. We were trying to press the lower sides where it says the release buttons are but did not realize that we had to have it plugged in to open it. It easily opened on its own and we were able to secure the phone. It held tight and we didn't have to worry about the phone falling off to the floor like with our old vent phone hold. It charges well and as soon as you put it on it starts charging. It doesn't have the option to remove the cord and use a different one to plug into the cigarette port so you'd have to be extra careful not to damage that or the whole device will be useless. It looks nice in our truck. My phone has a case and I remove it but it works perfectly with my husband's without a case.

I have never used a wireless vent charger before so I didn't know what to expect. One thing I love about this is that the plug has an extra port so you can plug in another charging cord. It's extremely simple to use, but I wish the manual was better. First of all, you must have power in order to get your phone in and out. The manual doesn't say this. In one of our vehicles, the power to the lighter turns off when the car turns off. I couldn't get my phone out until I decided to try turning it back on again. Once the charger has power the clips will open up. Set your phone in and the clips will secure your phone into place. To remove, while it has power, just touch one of the silver buttons on either side. I've used this on a 3 hour trip and my phone was secure the entire time, even when on extremely bumpy country roads. I'd definitely recommend this charger.

It works great for "small" phones. I had one with my iphone 13 and is great. Got one for my wife's pixel 7 pro and her phone is bigger and wasn't able to charge it. When you turn on the car, it opens, when you put your phone on it it closes automatically, and when you turn off the car it opens automatically. It's great

It falls off all the time. Don't hold the phone well it slips out all the time.

This was by far the best charging station, until the little rubber in the clip fell out. Within the first week. It was great charging, and automatic gripping and releasing. Now that the rubber pieces are gone, charger won't grip to vent

Do not buy this junk. It unclamps phone randomly and causes the phone to fall off. Unless you want a broken screen and damaged center console dont buy this. Ordering off amazon instead.

The arms will open or close when you touch your phone screen, not even the side areas that upon tap to open and close. It's too sensitive and my phone falls out. This is the 2nd one I've purchased. That same issue happened with the 1st one. And then the arms eventually get stuck and won't automatically open.

Not even strong enough to have my phone on it and on the vent so it’s always hanging downward . And once I hit a bump to the floor it goes. Usually right under the gas pedal or brake
