onn Gaming Mechanical Keyboard with Blue Switches and 16.8M LED Lighting, 104 Keys

This review is HIGHLY qualified by the phrase 'for the price'. That having been said, here goes. This mechanical keyboard is absolutely amazing. I like it so much, I keep re-buying it every time I break the old one. And that--how often I break it--happens about half as often as other cheap keyboards, so another plus. FOR THE PRICE, this is a great keyboard. However, if it went above $39, it's unlikely I would buy another one.

Colors are great and can easily be changed with 2-key combinations made on your keyboard. I like the included magnetic rest for your palms. Keys sound similar to and about as loud as an old fashioned typewriter, but the timbre is plastic not metallic. In an office of multiple people this keyboard would be a show stopper. But in your home office, you might rather enjoy the click-clack of the keys. Just don't type while others are trying to sleep, unless they're into keyboard ASMR.

Love the keyboard. Colors are great and the different modes are really fun. I feel like I'm playing a piano when I use a regular keyboard compared the ease of this one.

Had one prior to this purchase that lasted me two years of abuse. i stream on aver 60 hours a week on twitch and can fully say its a great deal for the price.

I was excited to try this ONN gaming keyboard as I loved the look of the lights. I'm currently using it for my laptop that has a few keys that don't work. What I love most about this is that not only can you select the lights, but you can also make them move with options like 'breathe' or 'wave', etc. I just love it. The only small tiny complaints I would have is I wish it rose up higher off the desk (using the lifts doesn't lift it much higher than keeping it flat) and I wish it wasn't so loud. I live alone but it might get annoying if you type fast like I do. Over all I still love it. Enjoy!

I like that the LED display is controlled by the keyboard and not problematic software. The less software I need running the better. I bought this as an impulse buy one day while doing shopping at Walmart. I felt a few keys through the packaging and they felt nice to me. I got it home and decided I loved the feel of the keys. I like hearing the clanking sound that tells me each key has been pushed. The waving illumination is pretty to look at, but the feel of the keyboard is dynamite. I went to buy another at Walmart a month later for another computer at home and it was not longer sold. I bought it by ordering it on their website. I am glad I did. It is inexpensive and has a great feel for me.

This is my first gaming keyboard so I don't have much to compare it to other than my current keyboard. To be honest, I didn't even really know gaming keyboards were a thing until my gamer son asked for one and when the opportunity to have one came up I jumped at it. For starters, the keyboard comes in a sturdy box and includes the keyboard, a magnetic wrist rest, a DVD with downloadable software, and instructions. Although you can use the DVD to download the software there is also a link to where to download it online should you misplace your disc (or, in my case when your laptop does not have a DVD drive). However, I just pluggee in the keyboard and my computer recognized it right away without any downloads. When the keyboard is plugged it it sequences through a neat array of colors, finally settling on green. You are able to change colors using the downloaded software but I opted to keep it the way it is. One thing that I noticed right away is how "high" the keys are compared to my current keyboard. I don't know much about gaming but I do a lot of typing and graphic design and I actually found them to be extremely comfortable. And on top of that, there is a satisfying "click" with every button press- if you are easily bothered by clicking sounds and/or do not want to bother your roommate you will not like this. However, from what I understand this feature is common and desired on gaming keyboards. The keyboard has a glowing background- the main color is green but like I mentioned above that can be changed as well. I like how you can also create your own custom settings and save them for easy retrieval later. The keys felt very responsive, and my gamer son took it for a test drive and absolutely loved it. The wrist rest attaches easily and is very comfortable. The only thing that I didn't really like was the cord, as it just adds clutter to my workspace and I have gotten spoiled eith wireless accessories. However, I can't fault the product for that as it clearly says that it is corded on the box. Overall, I think this is a decent keyboard and I look forward to purchasing the matching gaming mouse and mousepad from this brand. I received this product from the Walmart Spark Reviewer program for testing purposes but my opinions are honest and are my own.

I have cataracts and have trouble seeing the keyboard, so having a "tactile" keyboard is important, and this keyboard is VERY tactile, the keys are well separated with lots of travel and a satisfying "click'. I also bought it because I thought having a lighted keyboard would help with my poor vision, and it does help very much. My only disappointment was with the instructions; they were too tiny for a vision challenged person to read, and they weren't clear on how to change the color of the keyboard lighting. The app you download is also confusing, and I can't figure out how to turn on all three colored light emitting diodes simultaneously for maximum brightness and had to settle for turning on just the red light emitting diodes.

Buy something like a Redragon online instead. You'll spend less money and get a better board. The switches on this board are NOT replaceable. They are very clicky, with an inconsistent sound and feel. The design leaves the switches very exposed to dirt and debris (most boards have their switches slightly elevated for this reason, this one doesn't) so I doubt this board will last long. I used it for one day and ordered a much better Redragon from the rainforest for less money (elevated and replaceable switches, better lighting, programmable hotkeys, detachable cord, and software that doesn't make you wonder if North Korea is hacking your PC).

The included wrist rest is very nice but the clicking noise was extremely loud. IF this is all you can afford it's okay, but I'd recommend the one without the .. clicky keys.
