Overall this storage drive is really good. It downloaded and loaded my games and files very quickly. The wire is kind of short but that is fine since it isn't like I'm going to be using it in a far area. The storage says it's 500gb but when I plugged into my computer it only read 462 but this is usually the case with most storage devices. They usually use up some storage for the file system. 400 megab per second is pretty good in terms of uploading and downloading speed. It is very compact and light weight so it is very easy to carry it around and view files on other computers or devices. At the same time its not so tiny that you would end up losing it in a drawer somewhere.

Let's start by pointing how light weighted this product is. You can barely feel you are carrying it. So thin but worth it. I debated on my rating in the beginning as I had a hard time with my phone identifying it. However, once I managed, I was truly impressed on how fast I was able to transfer the files to clear up some space in my phone, which I needed! I got to transfer 144 files in a matter of 2 minutes or less. Instructions are clear. It comes with everything you need. Absolutely portable. I am really impressed and really happy I got to try this product as my phone was getting so full even after adding an external SD card. Sometimes you just need this kind of extra help. If you like me, love to take many, many pics and videos, this is the right product for you. I would suggest to give it a chance.

This SSD is awesome. Very small and yet super fast it doesn't hesitate at all. I needed to pull all my pics from my computer since was running out of space and it didn't take long once I plugged it in. I love the desing and how compact it is, I truly recommend it. onn. rocks!

This portable solid state drive is very small and very lightweight. I can easily store it anywhere. It comes with a usb cable and a usb-c cable. I copied a lot of pictures and other files onto it, and they all copied quickly. When I opened the files I had loaded onto it, they all opened quickly. I am very happy with it so far. I am using it as a backup for all of my files and pictures.

It has a reasonably fast transfer speed (400 MB/s read and write) and is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB-C. Though listed as having a 250GB capacity, Windows 10 only recognizes 231GB. It can hold up 64,000 12 MP pictures. All in All, I find this is a good value for the price.

Included two 1.3 feet (40 cm) cables, 1 usb-c to usb-c. and 1 usb-c to usb. SSDs can withstand physical impacts compared to HHD. SSD are faster in read-and-write speeds, quieter and lower power consumption compared to HHDs however cost more than traditional HHDs. Recently my dash cam's micro SD card stopped working so I replaced it with a 32GB Onn micro SD card and works great so I ordered the Onn SSD. Longevity is unknown because I haven't had these Onns long enough but so far working great for my video recordings (21 hrs HD films) and backup. Pros: Tiny, 2 cables, budget friendly, 2 year limited warranty. Cons: Testing 1GB read/write speed using a Disk performance app shows an average read speed of 200MB/s (shown on photo) on my phone and slower on my computer's USB 3.0 port, not close to 400 MB/s printed on the box, a USB 3.2 gen 1 port could make it faster. My computer's USB 2.0 port can not recognize the Onn drive but works fine with other 3.0 drives. The name Onn 2.0.is confusing . Every computer is different so results vary and make sure to use a shorter 3.0 rated cable on 3.0 usb port.

My boyfriend uses this to store games for his Xbox and it works great. the memory is huge so he is able to fit a lot of games on this. I definitly recommend

It's fast portable storage that provides sixty four thousand twelve MP photos as well as twenty one hours of HD video recording and movies. This also comes with USB-C cable. Definitely use this drive a lot.

I had the same experience as another 1 star reviewer. I began transferring files and everything appeared to be going as expected. All the sudden, the drive disappeared, and won't work on any computer I have since tried. It worked for maybe 15 minutes. I have tried to get it to mount on a Mac, Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS machine...all to no avail. I guess I now have a $40 paper weight because I don't want to return in on the remote chance someone could get it to work and access my files.
