I have to do some presentations for my online classes and this microphone is quite handy for creating audio. It was automatically detected my computer after plugging in the provided cable. You will want to keep it about 6" from your face for a clear sound recording.

If you're a beginner vlogger or podcaster and don't want to spend a lot in a microphone, this one's for you! This onn premium USB recording microphone is a no-brainer. Plugged it and instantly use it! Easy-peasy indeed. I love that it makes my sound recording sounds so much better. You only have one button - the mute button, which you definitely need if you are using this mic for a meeting. I also like that the stand is adjustable for your own liking. You can also remove the stand and use the microphone with any common 1/4” tripod or stand. Overall, this is a great buy for anyone who needs it.

Having used a bigger microphone that also required the use of a separate power cord, and a separate mic stand, I found this microphone's simplicity to be it's biggest strength. Audio is great. There is no power cord, no on off button. The stand is built in and the mic itself is compact. The only button on the mic is the mute button. (Which is a great feature in itself.) The compact size means I can have it closer to me and not have it stick out when I'm on video chats. Overall, I would recommend this microphone.

This is a great little microphone! When I received it , it was very well packaged. It came in a bright orange eye catching box. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. It is a plug and play type of device. The look of this microphone is pleasing to the eye. It's not bulky or unstable. This microphone has a nice weight and compact professional feel. I love the power LED/mute button. Easy to tell if it is on and or muted. It has tilt adjustment which is convenient and adds to its functionality. The sound is clear and crisp without feedback. We have used it for multiple applications. We have used it for zoom chats, recordings, and gaming. My children have used it with ease. My son for gaming and my 6 year old for her singing games on pc. My thirteen year old son love this product as well. We will purchase another in the near future.

I am very impressed with this. They can hear me clearly. Its lightweight, adjustable and compact. Highly recommend. I hope the come out with more colors soon. Would definitely be interested in a red.

This product arrived quickly and exactly as expected. It is a compact microphone which works great for our smaller computer desk. The sound quality is great! I would definitely recommend. Hooking it up was a breeze.

This product works great on both Linux and Windows devices, doesn't require any driver installations and works right out of the box. It has decent audio quality within a 2-3 foot distance any more and it starts to pickup background noise. I would recommend this product for school projects or for video conferences and classes. Had fun using this to work with sound files and alsamixer and it did a good job of capturing my voice without any static or unwanted feedback. I was disappointed by the lack of built in feature for this microphone the only one it comes with is the mute/unmute option. The base of this device does provide decent mobility and angling options. The placement of the microsd port for power does cause the cable to stick out a bit and if you move the mic around too much it will wear down the cable. Given the lack of an internal battery or bluetooth interface this device does have to be plugged in via usb which does affect the sound quality a little. However thanks to this it is lightweight and easy to transport. This microphone works well as a designated microphone for your desk setup. I wouldn't recommend this for gaming as you would have better quality with a headset however it does work very well for video calls while your working at you desk. I like the design. It's small enough, rotates 360 degrees and comes with a mute button at the top which changes colors when it's on. The USB cable is long enough too. It was easy to set up (no software installation required, no drivers needed) and the sound quality is good enough for my purpose (skype and youtube). I used my Logitech webcam with built in microphone to record some audio and than this microphone. The sound quality of the recording made with the ONN microphone was better than the one made with my Logitech webcam.

I've never used a desktop microphone before this, so I can't really compare this to anything else. Overall, though, I'm pleased with this mic. It's very easy to setup and use, just plug it in and select the right recording device, and you're ready to go. Works with both Windows 10 and Linux without needing to install any drivers. Build quality is decent with the exception of the desk stand which feels like it might break if handled too roughly, but if you're not moving it around much or don't need to adjust it often, I wouldn't be too concerned about that. The mic itself is very sensitive and seems to be capable of making high quality recordings, but ambient noise can be an issue. It's supposed to be unidirectional, and it does reject noise coming from other directions, but not as much as I expected. It picks up ambient noises all throughout the house, and even my mouse clicks and keypresses get picked up pretty easily. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who needs to make recordings in a noisy environment and needs noise reduction or rejection. For conference calls, though, especially where multiple people are in the same room and will need to talk, this mic is great. Minus 1 star for the desktop stand construction and high sensitivity to ambient noise.

So let me start off by saying the things I do like.. The stand is very nice for a cheap mic, the lighted mute button on top is a very nice feature for a budget mic, I really like being able to mute the mic in an instant if needed by simply hitting the lite up button on top of the mic. The reason I'm giving this mic a bad rating is because it picks up absolutely any and every little sound anywhere in the room it's being used, it's way to sensitive and echoy to be realistically used for any kind of streaming, even just the squeek of a chair or taps of a quiet keyboard are magnified in this thing making it verrrry hard to actually use for anything. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the price, it is extremely cheap but honestly for a few more dollars the blue snowball is a much better mic if your sticking to thr cheaper price point. I would not recommend this onn. Mic for these reasons!
