As a student, I find this webcam really practical for everyday use. It works great for online classes, Zoom meetings, and group discussions—the 2K video quality is clear and much better than a typical basic webcam. I also like the autofocus and low-light correction. Even when my room lighting isn’t perfect at night, the video still looks pretty good. It’s super easy to use too—just plug and play, no complicated setup needed, which is perfect for someone like me. The built-in microphone is decent for speaking in class or doing presentations. Overall, it’s affordable, easy to use, and offers great value for students.

This is my first 2k webcam and the image quality is much sharper than my previous 720p one. Microphone is adequate and good for meeting. If looking for more high definition audio might think of pairing with a separate microphone. I would recommmend this for someone looking for a budget webcam with high quality not some tech nerds looking for a premium experience

I LOVE THIS WEB CAM. YOU CAN DO VIDEO AS WELL AS PHOTOS. I LOVE IT FOR "LIVE VIDEO" WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN. I PLUGGED IT INTO MY COMPUTER PORT, MY COMPUTER RECOGNIZES THE WEBCAM AND I GO TO MY CAMERA SETTINGS ON MY COMPUTER, FROM THERE ONCE I OPEN IT UP, I ADJUSTED THE SETTINGS TO AUTOFOCUS. I GO TO THE COMPUTER CAMERA, THERE YOU CAN EITHER TAKE A PHOTO START A VIDEO. YOU WILL SEE WHEN THE LIGHT ON WEB CAM IS GREEN WHICH MEANS IT IS SET UP READY FOR PHOTO OR VIDEO WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE. VERY EASY. THIS CAN ALSO BE USED FOR SCHOOLING FROM HOME. YOU CAN CHANGE IT TO MANUAL SETTINGS CAMERA/VIDEO. CAMERA HAS A 2 SECOND, 5 AND 10 SECOND TIMER IN THE CASE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE OF COUPLE GROUP PHOTO/S. SO THIS I FIND VERY USEFUL FOR MY NEEDS. From a person with little patience with technology especially having to install new devices, this web cam couldn't have been easier. It worked on plug in. I had no issues at all. It sits nicely atop my monitor. The image is clear and responsive. I couldn't ask for more!

This camera is something I have wanted to add to my old PC .. this was as easy as setting camera o top of Monitor and plugging into USB port on pc .. has its own speaker and needs NO INSTALLATION of drivers to work!.. now I can Skype or FaceTime from the big comfortable computer ... good picture pixels too.

It also has amazing low light correction it detects poor lighting and corrects it . This specific webcam has a system requirement of windows 8/10 or newer , Mac OS 10.12 or newer . onn. is a trademark brand of Walmart Inc, so I trust the products to be of good quality. The onn. Surf Webcam is a good quality webcam in a tiny size. The webcam has Autofocus, with low light correction, up to 1440p resolution, and a built-in microphone. The box states that the webcam is made in Vietnam but the box has the FCC symbol on it and the insert has an FCC statement that the onn. Webcam with Autofocus, Up to 1440p Resolution, and Built-in Microphone meets FCC guidelines. The webcam is tiny, about 1 inch wide by 3 inches long and less than 1 inch thick. Luckily, the microphone takes up the entire center circle on the front so it works well. And the speakers take up the remainder of the front, one speaker on each side of the center circle by the microphone. The webcam sits on an adjustable base that swivels and adjusts to fit wide or narrow computer screens. The base also has a metal threaded hole on the bottom for use with a tripod. There is a small LED light on the front that lights up when the webcam is operating. The webcam has an attached 6 ft long USB-A cable so you just plug it in to your computer or laptop USB port- no driver to install. The onn. Webcam with Autofocus, Up to 1440p Resolution, and Built-in Microphone is PC and Mac compatible but there are system requirements: Windows version 8/10 or newer or Mac OS 10.12 or newer. And of course your computer needs to have a USB port! If your computer already has a built-in camera, and microphone (they almost all do right?!), you will have to set the webcam as the main camera, set the microphone as the main microphone, and set camera privacy settings to allow apps (like web meetings apps) to access the webcam. I only use it for personal calls with my grandkids, but those calls are as important to me as any business conference call!

This onn. Webcam with Autofocus works well. The video quality is pretty decent (up to 1440p video resolution) for zoom calls and basic videos. It also has a built in microphone which is helpful since my laptop mic isn't very good. The cord is 6ft so the camera can be placed in different areas and positions. You can stick it on top of your laptop screen or set it on a table or other surface to capture video. One thing I would caution about is that the box says it's PC and Mac compatible, but don't think that means it will work on every laptop or device because it does not. It will not work on our Chromebook. However it does work on our HP laptop. For high quality YouTube videos, I would recommend a higher quality Webcam but this is sufficient and works well for most needs. I'd definitely recommend it!

This is a great webcam. Super simple to use. It looks great, feels nice and sits easily and safely on computer. It has a built in microphone, USB plug and play, auto focus, 85 degree field of view, pc and Mac compatible. I tried it out with Teams and it worked great. No complaints!

I got this as a backup to my logitech 920 that i use for streaming. both are on default out-of-the-box settings. the plus of this camera is it actually looks clearer than my 920. my beard on the 920 mostly looks like fuzz with some individual hairs here and there but with this camera i see many more individual hairs. overall it looks more in focus too. they both autofocus but this one seems clearer. now for the cons: this camera doesn't deal with excess light well. i have a decently bright area and with the logitech, it shows me normally. with this camera, i see patches of light on my fair skin (reflected on my forehead, shoulders, and arms). it's basically there on all but the lowest light settings. that alone prevents me from recommending this product. it's probably something that could be fixed with a dedicated app but there isn't one. so that's also a con i guess. it's a decent enough starter webcam but i wouldn't use it professionally or for streaming. is it something you can set up for grandma and grandpa so they can skype you? sure. just make sure you're in a well lit room but no direct light on you.
