OPTASE Hylo Night Dry Eye Ointment - Nighttime Relief for Dry Eyes

I suffer from severe dry eye and rely on both prescription and over-the-counter products to manage my symptoms on a daily basis. Each night, I use a hot eye compress mask, and afterward, I apply the ointment that contains three soothing ingredients. This routine helps alleviate my discomfort by the time I wake up.

I usually use systane night ointment, but gave this a try. My eyes feel much better, do not have the feeling of eyelash in my eye all the time. Vision has improved, still have days of cloudiness but I have only been using it about 5 days now. Yes, I will buy more.

There is no other option for keeping the eyes hydrated if one cannot keep eyelid totally shut while sleeping. This product does alleviate the dryness.R

This eye lubricant works better than any of the others for me, and I've tried them all. It's more expensive, but I am willing to pay the extra for vision.

If you have Sjögren's syndrome you may struggle with your eyes in the morning. Mine would be stuck shut upon waking up. I tried many things. Dr recommended this eye ointment. Since I started using it my eyes open every morning. You don't need a prescription %26 I just ordered 2 tubes from Walmart %26 it shipped right away. My daughter applies the ointment to my eyes at bedtime. Yes everything is a blur but it clears up in a reasonable time. I can apply it myself but it really helps to have assistance.

Pleasantly surprised that I can do the product into my eye from the tube, like eye drops. I'm using it almost 20 years post-LASIK for severe dry eye syndrome with a bad flare up. New user, finding it works very well. You will wake up with some ointment under your eyes and will need to dab it off with a tissue and then wash off remaining residue, which is typical of overnight eye ointments, however I found Hylo Night to be much less goopy than others I've previously been prescribed.

This is a great nighttime treatment for dry eye. It takes practice to apply without contaminating the tip and not to waste it.This product was recommended by my retinol specialist. I use this in combination with the daytime use of Oasis Tears eye lubricant. My Dry Eye Syndrome is so improved !!!

As good as this ointment is I find it difficult to use. My eyes stay blurry until the next morning and the ointment get all over the bedding. I'll reconsider using this moving forward but will use it in the short term.
