Great flavor! I Wouldn't have expected anything less from this brand. I love chocolate malt and you won't be disappointed
I've tried a lot of protein powders over the years, and Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein is hands down the best I've ever found. The taste is outstanding, mixes smoothly, and never has that chalky texture that so many others do. The 25g of protein per serving makes it easy for me to hit — and often exceed — my daily protein goals. I also appreciate how clean and high-quality the ingredients feel compared to other brands I've tried. I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition to anyone looking for a reliable, great-tasting, clean protein source. Definitely a staple in my routine.
This is a very good strawberry flavor. It's not too sweet for me, but still has a very prevalent strawberry taste. As usual with ON products, it's very thin and doesn't have too much taste with water, but it's still easy to get down. With just a little bit of added fat with almond milk, it's perfect.
This is the flavor I use when wanting to add some fruit. I keep frozen strawberries and other frozen fruit on hand. Or a can of mandarin orange slices drained. I freeze sliced bananas for thickening and to chill the drink instead of some ice cubes. It's great for that.
I love this stuff. I had switched to a vegan product for a while, but it was chalky and too fine, so weirdly hard to mix. Plus it was insanely spendy, and apparently had higher levels of lead in it! So, back to whey! Whoo.
Great texture and mixes so easily in morning protein shakes. Gives a good protein boost while keeping calories in line. Not sticky sweet. Just a lovely taste
We've tried some other cheaper brands, but the powder was difficult to dissolve and we ended up with lot's of clumps just about every time. Plus, the Gold Standard tastes much better, so I guess we're locked in.
The protein itself is good as its always been with my experience with this brand. It blends well in a shaker bottle, especially if you shake it and let it rest for a few minutes and shake again. I ordered the banana cream flavor on a whim this time, and I was surprised with it since usually banana flavored stuff tastes so artificial to me that it's pretty gross, especially when in combination with protein. It's definitely got an artificial taste to it, but I'd say it's in the instant banana pudding way where it's sweet and tastes good in it's own way even if it's not like a bite of the fresh fruit.
Pretty disappointing, but it's fine. The flavor is basically just a muted vanilla with a tiny tiny hint of chocolate if you mix it with fattier milk to actually bring out the flavor. It has Oreo bits in it, but they're tiny and not prevalent, and they just sink and stick to the sides of the bottle anyways. I tried with water, almond milk, and milk. It's tasteless and thin with water, better with the milks but still meh. If you're willing to compromise a little bit on macros, MyProtein has a much better Cookies and Cream flavor. But this one by ON is fine as a staple if you want to stick to ON and if you like the vanilla but want it less sweet.
I did not receive the cinnamon roll flavor. And instead got the vanilla ice cream which made me almost sick. Couldn't stand the taste. I had no idea it was wrong flavor
