Thank You Orbit 65140 12 Micro-Sprinkler Stakes With Assorted Snap-On Nozzles So Far So Good They really work great except as soon I turn the water the main Stake pops up from the soil but it works really good for My Flower Bed it includes 5 Adjustable Sprinkler on Stake 5’-10’ Assorted Snap-On Nozzles I recommend This for anyone that loves planting
I was very pleased to receive the 12 inch Micro-Sprinkler Stakes with snap on nozzles. I have a patio area that is hard to water with a hose because too much water is emitted or if I turn it down it takes a long time. These Micro sprinklers adjust to spray a distance of 5 to t0 feet and stake in the ground, raised garden or in a pot. There are five snap on nozzles that twit a full, half or quarter inch flow. This allows me to adjust the flow so that I can monitor the amount of water emitted. I ordered drip tubing for the water supply and I have found that the flow has worked so far but I will continue to monitor this cold water system as the spring watering needs increase. These 5 inch stakes have a flow control nozzle on each stake. I am pleased with the Orbit Micro-Sprinkler stakes so far and since I ordered 100 feet of tubing, I know I can add to the system if I find that I need to cover a larger area in the future.
Orbit 65140 12 Micro-Sprinkler System is a 12 pk Sprinkler set that works fantastically to water plants?flowers?and bushes in my yard or flower beds. This system is compact but packs a punch at getting a job done.
This package of micro sprinklers has a good variety of spray patterns and enough sprinklers to cover a decent area of my yard. I like that there is a mix of patterns and not just one in the package. Haven't used them yet, but they seem like they will work nicely with the stakes.
I’ve learned so much about the Orbit 65140 12 Micro-Sprinkler Stakes with Assorted Snap-on Nozzle in the last 5 to 7 weeks. Please note that this kit does NOT have everything you need to get started. At first, I thought this was plug and play. No, I had to buy other materials (1/2-inch drip line,1/4-inch drip tube, valve to connect 1/2-inch drip line to water hose spigot). This kit comes with 5 sprinkler on the stake, 5 nozzles of different color that adjusts the spray (360°, 180°, 90°). Each stake comes with a barb fitting that twist off. I made a hole in the 1/2-inch drip line and inserted one end of the barb fitting. Then I inserted a 1/4-inch drip tube to the other end of the barb fitting. The other end of the 1/4-inch drip tube was attached to the barb fitting on the sprinkler on the stake. Each stake has a knob that allowed me to adject the spray distance. Please be careful pushing the stake into the ground. You the area where I pushed my stakes in has clay rough and tough soil. The plastic of the stake was weak and broke. Furthermore, when connecting the 1/4-inch drip tube to the barb fitting on the sprinkler stake; take it easy or that fitting will break off as well. I had a hard time changing the nozzles as well.
I was very confused on how to install these sprinklers on stakes as they had no instructions. My husband took charge on this project. He did say that the plastic felt a bit thin and delicate, and seemed cheaply made. These sprinklers contain 5 stakes and 5 valves of 360, 180, and 90 degrees each. My husband said they are ok but he’s seen better.
It's a nice little sprinkler, good for a garden! But It has some issues. No matter how much I tighten it, it still leaks, so it makes me feel like it's leaking more water than actually spraying. I'm sure it could be fixed with some more ingenuity.
Haven’t used it yet. Still too early for a garden. The concept is great but it didn’t come with any instructions or suggested tubing, so I’ll wait until I move where my son in law can get it put together. Stay tuned….
I’m really not sure how to work these. No instructions came with it and we can’t find a yogurt video on them either. Came with the heads and stakes nothing else. They look to be missing a lot in order for them to work properly.
