Not for low water pressure or small diameter hoses
I have a lightweight-metal-snake-type-non-kinking hose that I just bought and the hose works amazingly well. However, it's a low-pressure hose because of the diameter. When used with this sprinkler, it only shoots about a foot high and that's it. I was really disappointed but it's not the fault of this sprinkler manufacturer, it's the combination of both products together. If you have a regular heavy-weight rubber hose, I'm sure it will work just fine. I gave this five stars because I'm sure it will work fine for everyone else with "normal" hoses.

This is a great sprinkler the last one I had got stolen Ive been looking for this one for years Ive tried other sprinklers but not as good Im glad I found it

Good for small areas a low pressure.
Gets the job done, but it's too lightweight to turn on full force. When the faucet is turned on high, the sprinkler swings around like a whip snake.

Plastic pieces broke in less than 6 months
The sprinkler broke in less than six months with maybe 6 or 7 uses. The concept is great but has inferior plastic pieces and is not worth the price.
