Item works great. It's not like the heavy thick hoses.

This is a lifetime hose, it is soft and supple as stated even in cold weather! The stuff you can get at big box stores is garbage, a waste of time and money. Get the swan soft and supple great investment 5/8 or 3/4, it lasts even through the winters outside.

For the last 3 yrs I've purchased the hoses that retract and are very light weight, but that's gotten old, spending $20-$40 and having it last one year - every one (even after bringing it inside to store during the winter) burst at the nozzle connection after a year's use! After hrs of research & reading hundreds of reviews - considering hoses that cost even as much as $100, I ended up with this hose ( SNSS58050, Soft & Supple) which is so inexpensive, but got good previous reviews. I've only used it once since purchase, but it is a lighter weight & fairly supple as described and the coupling is one of the sturdiest I've seen on a hose at any price. It worked well on this 1st use and I expect it to curl on the hose hanger well ( the area is under construction right now, so the hose hanger is not accessible just yet - but the hose curled up nicely on the ground). It did not kink up, while pulling it through the yard (kinking is a major turn off for me). So I will give it a top rating! Purchased this item & a sprayer on line & to be picked up from Walmart, which ended up saving me a little more money to boot. Pick up only took about 2 minutes, too! I do like reviews, they have certainly influenced my buying!

The hose is not as soft or supple as I had hoped. Good connections though.

It is too stiff and tangled up all the time
