[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The infestation was annoying to my family. This product has proven results for me. I would recommend this product to others. As a first time user of this product, I found it easy to use. Excellent product for a first time user!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great Daughter brought the bed bugs from her apartment when the landlord would not do anything about the bugs in the building. So when she moved back home some came with, used this product and so far no more bed bugs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I receive this product about a month ago. I have not used it yet, but assume it is a great product. All the products I have used from this company have been quality. It appears to be exactly as advertised.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a must take along item when staying in a motel or away from home. Easy to use, small in size, and gives peace of mind . I would definitely recommend this Ortho Home Defense Bed Bug trap.
Hard to put on the matress.
I thankfully did not find any bugs in the Trap. Not sure if these work or not... used in hotel room...the smell drove me crazy.. very offensive.
This product is worthless. It says trap in the name “Bed Bug Trap” but yet it is not meant to be a trap; only to monitor activity (this is the feedback left by Ortho Customer Service on other reviews). How is it supposed to monitor activity if it doesn't trap them? And if there happened to be one living it up in the “trap”, the only way to actually “trap” it would be to push in on the clear plastic cover. You will have to literally watch it 24x7 to catch one. Each time I went to monitor the “trap” it was empty. Then I went to look up videos on how to use the product, thinking I did something wrong, and all the videos I found had a glue strip you attach to the bottom, but this product does not come with one. Again, how are you supposed to monitor activity if it doesn't trap them? Useless product.
So these are not traps!! They are tiny boxes that apparently draw bed bugs to them (I haven't seen any), but if they enter the box, they can just walk right back out again. Why is it advertised as a trap? In order for the consumer to learn that bed bugs are present, they'd have to stare at this box and just happen to see if bugs stopped by for a cup of coffee before walking right back out. Total rip-off. This was a complete waste of money.
Uh - why is this called a trap if it doesn't trap? What a complete waste of money. It does absolutely nothing. Bugs can crawl in and right back out before you could ever detect them. Maybe if you get up during the night and check quickly with a flashlight. Very very disappointing.
Why do you call them traps. I should have read the comments before I purchased 12 of them. According to your responses your traps are not meant to trap. The only way to know I have bed bugs using your Bed Bug Trap is if I happen to check them at the right time. I knew they would not get rid of the infestations, but I would naturally be led to believer they would be trapped in the Bed Bug Trap. Can I get my money back? I have spread all 12 around the house. I do not want to have to check them every hour.
