Oster Texture Select Pro Blender with 2 Blend-N-Go Cups and Tritan Jar, Brushed Nickel

You can always count on Oster quality products! Performs as expected. Easily crushes ice to a powder for my coffee drinks. I love making smoothies in it. Great control over how little or much you want it blended. Cleans up easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oster Texture Select is by far the best I've ever used. It comes with a 5 cup food processor, and 9 preprogrammed settings. Simply amazed me when I used it for the first time, I've never had a blender that crushes ice like this one does. It has a food mode , smoothie, milkshake, and chop which is awesome. The texture mode features a thin , med, and thick texture mode. I will definitely be entertaining alot more , it's very simple to use and is overall the fastest way to making anything you want.

This blender is the best I've ever purchased in my life!! It also comes with 2 extra large cups with sip lids!

The performance is superb.

We're bought this 2 years ago. And it's worked great for smoothies but the first time we tried the food processor was to make peanut butter and it broke the shaft in the past called "adapter" which is what connected the blades to the base. So now the food processor is useless and I can't not find a replacement pay without buying an entire new vessel with blades lid and adapter.

I bought it ,and this is the replacement of my original shop, the first split from the rotating tip. And this one is already giving flashes and stop after the 1 minute of starting working.. Not so happy with my adquired they were built better .

Received as Open box condition , return immediately.

I have enjoyed using the blender, however, the first time (only time) I used the food processor was to grate chocolate and it was awful. Instead of grating the chocolate it melted it. Then, it was almost impossible to open as the chocolate seemed to seal the lid closed. When I finally got it apart I noticed that several of the parts seem to be worn out. It has only been used that once. I followed the instructions using pulse and low speeds only.

NOT the quality expected from Oster. The "skirt/cuff" thingy at the bottom of the 8 cup Tritan Jar is an obvious "designed to fail" feature. Eech!
