I bought 2 feeders, this one and another brand. Comparing the two brands:
I like that both have the option of battery backup, but I haven't bought the batteries, yet.
I like that this one came completely assembled, if I recall well.
I like that this one has remote feeding through Internet (an app), besides the button on the device where you can feed in person. When I bought it, I didn't realize this, so it was a nice surprise.
I like that this one has a plate inside the plate, so if you need to take it to wash it, the second plate remains ready to catch the food.
I don't like that the settings can only be done through the app, so I'm going to keep the manual available in a safe place.
I had a little trouble setting it up with Bluetooth, but I was eventually able to do it.
In the other brand, I like that I can easily see the food tank contents through its transparent container; this one is transparent, but dark, so it's a little hard to know how much food is left.
In this one, the food does not fall completely into the dish, some of it stays hidden (needs a better serving angle). My cats can bring the hidden food down with their paws, so no big deal.
