I bought 2 feeders, this one and another brand. Comparing the two brands: I like that both have the option of battery backup, but I haven't bought the batteries, yet. I like that this one came completely assembled, if I recall well. I like that this one has remote feeding through Internet (an app), besides the button on the device where you can feed in person. When I bought it, I didn't realize this, so it was a nice surprise. I like that this one has a plate inside the plate, so if you need to take it to wash it, the second plate remains ready to catch the food. I don't like that the settings can only be done through the app, so I'm going to keep the manual available in a safe place. I had a little trouble setting it up with Bluetooth, but I was eventually able to do it. In the other brand, I like that I can easily see the food tank contents through its transparent container; this one is transparent, but dark, so it's a little hard to know how much food is left. In this one, the food does not fall completely into the dish, some of it stays hidden (needs a better serving angle). My cats can bring the hidden food down with their paws, so no big deal.

it works just as described. I use the battery feature to feed the outside kitty when we aren't home. the button for manual feeding is the only function I don't love. kitty can hit the button now that she knows what it does.

The unit instructions state that it can be programmed for automatic feeding two or three times a day, but every time I tried to program it it wouldn't work So I bought an automatic that doesn't run automatically But the single push button makes it easy For me to dispense portion of food whenever I want to

When I first got it I loved it. Better than my last one. The lid was very tightly sealed and it was bigger and easy to program and able to use batteries. It stopped working 3 days after receiving it. The light kept flashing and per "WiFi" food was dispersed. Nothing was dispensing. One of the rotor blades had fallen off.

This should have been enough for my medium size dog but once we went on our trip it only gave him a handful of kibble even when told to issue 6 "parts" I stood next to it and told the app to manually feed him 10 parts and still only a handful of kibble was distributed. I am very upset with the poor quality and the terrible English in the instructions and app which does not help troubleshoot "fault 3" i have no idea how to make this thing work without a real translation

Worked great for a couple of months but as others have stated just stops working. Won't connect to wifi, light will just keep flashing, it won't dispense food. We done all the troubleshooting and nothing will fix it.

The batteries described in the product details showcase the use of double AA batteries however the batteries required to turn on the feeder are a lot larger than what is needed. I am unsure what size I need as it unusually large size and is not shown on the device.

This product does not work properly at all. It feeds my pet in the morning while I am sleeping, flawlessly, but when it comes to dispensing food in the evening while I am at work, an odd error message is displayed within the app in broken English, that is telling me that the food was not dispensed. There is no troubleshooting within the app, and there is no explanation. It simply displays the message “Fault: fault” accompanied by a number. Check out the attached photo. If it is not going to feed my pet when I am away, then I can't understand why I would need it in the first place. The machine also appears to clog itself, and dispense a small amount of food instead of the portion I selected.

Feeding stop working after a couple of days

First one ordered was not put together correctly in factory. You refunded money.I ordered another. worked 2 days. Quit working. Returning item.
