These have been a lifesaver for me. I first purchased for an upcoming trip. I had concerns with bladder control and they did the job. They do exactly as described. I have not had issues with the patches leaving marks after removing as I saw in some reviews.. They do leave some sticky residue that easily comes off when bathing .
OTC patch for urinary urgency - east to use. Reapply every 4 days. Adheres well and holds up with showering. I have sensitive skin to adhesives and have had no problems with the Oxytrol patch. Much, much more cost effective than prescription medications - even with insurance, the script meds are cost- prohibitive.
I can't figure out if the company makes these anymore or are we just getting leftovers from warehouse. These are really necessary.
in order to get a true picture of this product you need to use this product for 3 months. My doctor did saw that it is using the same drug doctors prescribe but at a lower device. It also only comes in patches and at time it' s hard to manipulate the patch. Sometimes the exercises do a better job. Good Luck
Doing some research I found an article from the Mayo clinic. It said you need to use incontenance medicine 30 to 60 days to get the full benefit. I'm glad I found out that info. I would have given up much sooner. I switched to decaf and I've gone Keto and eliminated sugar. It has all helped. Can't get rid of the need for pads, but there is improvement.
Something had changed from the First time I used this product to now. The patches are not sticking as well. And the product isn't working as well!! I hope my body isn't getting used to the medicinal effects. I have one more box so I hope it works as it did the first time. Thanks, Deloris
I have used Oxytrol patches for several years and they work very well. This pack I got from Walmart seems to be a fake or they have changed the manufacturing process, because the patches make my skin burn, the glue doesn't stick well, and the product doesn't work as well as before. I had to use four until I got a new package from Amazon I am going to ask for a refund.
The Oxytrol Patches do work, but the product I just received was sent from Thrifty White Essentials and was a few months from expiration. This sounds like a company selling products that are ready to expire. That is exactly like the first box of 8 patches I ordered, which I used and had the same expiration date. At that time I had no idea of the reaction I would have. I used the patches while on a vacation trip and the adhesive must have been old. Each patch caused so much itching, I was in constant discomfort, but HAD to use the ones I had with me. I have used Oxytrol patches for several years, and have never had a bad reaction to the adhesive. I did not know the Patches would be sent from a third party source. I am returning the unopened box to Walmart.
I had used Oxytrol for a few years with good results. This batch is not the same product. It burned my skin and I had to remove the patch within 15 minutes. I waited a day and applied a new patch h with the same results. Something has changed in the formulation.
Never had a chance to review it. Called about it to PO they did not care. Walmart to send again. DIDN'T SEND. GOT SCREWED!! NOT HAPPY
