this item was perfect for a trip to universal studios which has very small free lockers. if you don't overpack this bag it fits great in lockers and holds a couple water bottles and had plenty of useful pockets for keeping things organized. I'll definitely keep using it in the future! it isn't quite as sturdy as more expensive backpacks but it's lightweight and comfortable and held up very well getting shoved in and out of lockers constantly for a week!

If you are looking for a small, light duty day pack, this one fits the bill perfectly. It is made of thinner denier polyester with off brand zippers, so don't expect this to take a lot of abuse compared to tactical packs or higher denier packs made with nylon. The thing this pack does excel at are the features. Including dual water bottle pockets, a front spacious side zippered pouch, comfortable ring style zipper pulls, a hydration bladder holder and three features you do not normall find on lower end packs: a sternum strap AND a hip belt plus a hydration pouch AND a hose port you can snake the hose down from either side. Two big cons: 1. The hydration port opening is VERY small, so don't expect to be able to use a Camelbak bladder or similiar as the hose bite valve will not fit. 2. There is no horizontal front pocket that you normal find for holding pencils, pens etc. This is a hiking pack, not a school pack. All in all, a great pack for those who like the 14 liter size and and perfect for short hikes!

Love this pack!! I forgot to pack my lightweight backpack on a recent snowshoe hiking trip. I bought this one to get me by. The construction and workmanship on this little inexpensive pack is very good. This pack has a nice roomy pouch accessible with 2 zippers across the top. There is also a slimmer pouch accessed by one zipper also across the top. This would fit a hydration bladder and there is a hole for the tube. The pack also has a small pocket accessible on the front which is lined with a soft fabric, perfect to stack glasses or goggles and not worry about scratches. Finally, also on the front is a vertical accessible pocket with a clip to hold keys. This pocket is great to stash trail maps or other smaller or flat objects with quick access (money, ID, etc.). There are two pockets on rack side capable of holding my 24 oz Yeti water bottles with straps to securely hold them. Finally there is a firmly stitched vertical strip along the front so if you want to attach something with a carabiner you can do so. I liked this pack so much I bought a second. The ONLY downside is that this only comes in one color. When I bought this I didn't care for the color but I love this little pack so much the color has grown on me. And I plan on bringing it with me this coming summer as I try it out on some day hikes in the Tetons!! And by the way, as an avid hiker I have invested in big name packs (Gregory, Osprey) and for the size and money, this one wins!

This is a great little day pack. The side water bottle pockets are awesome. I normally don't expect much out of the water bottle pockets with an economy backpack, so I was pleasantly surprised with these. Another feature that I like are the hip straps. You usually don't expect that with an inexpensive day pack. This is a great pack for bicycle commuting.

I love this hiking day pack. I went to 2 different Walmarts to buy and being behind locked glass (which I totally understand in today's world) I was unable to get an associate to help me so I ordered online and it is everything I thought it would be. Thank you

Cheaper alternative to Osperey DayLite. Small size is great for women/Teen ( Men too) . It has many inside pockets, zipper pocket in the front with fleece lining for sunglasses, water reservoir pouch holder for hiking, two side pockets with elastic that can hold 8 oz to 40 oz water bottles, adjustable straps,buckle for chest and stomach etc. Under $20 ! Padded back and great for Travel and Hiking. This is a great product from walmart.

The size is perfect for day hikes or even hauling my lunch and computer back and forth to work. Buying a second one today so I don't have to swap back and forth between hiking stuff and work stuff.

I love the bag! It is a lot smaller than I imagined it to be based off the pictures, I know better for next time to check for other bags in bigger sizes.

It's a great pack for the money. The quality is very nice, great for a bike ride or hike. The only issue I have is the color, wish it came in more colors and the picture is actually darker than the actual color. I wish it was a little darker green like OD green and not foliage green.

Great light weight pack for day hikes. Very comfortable, I like the small pocket in the front with soft lining for sunglasses. The side pockets are on the smaller side, but have straps with clips to help hold your water bottles in, it does make it difficult to get them out without stopping and removing the backpack. One thing I wish it did have is a pouch or pocket on the strap to keep your cell phone in.
