work in a pinch and more, easy connection without specific crimpers
The clips did exactly what I needed to connect my trolling motor.
PERFECT ITEM , GREAT PRICE , EASY TO USE . LOVE IT !
worked great
Good product. Built stronger than most.
Not much to say! Good clips with red and black rubber insulators on the handles for safety! They fit the posts on our lawn tractor battery posts and our 4 wheeler battery! The clips have a +/- embossed on the appropriate clip so you know which is positive and which is negative!
Best clips I've ever used
I have a charger I use to do electrochemical etching on metals. Learning to do this, I damaged the clips and they keep corroding. I figured out how not to fmdamage them, but once done, the corrosion persists. These clips were just what I needed. They are smaller and lighter weight than the old ones, but should work fine for me. I have only 2 complaints: they came with no instructions, though it is pretty straightforward, and you can Google instructions. Second, I thought the red and black sleeves would be heat shrink material. It's not. I tried. So, to keep them from slipping off, I used a dab of E600 glue on the outside of the clip arm, then slid the sleeve up. Heat shrink would be much better.
I had a very old pair of jumper cables in my vehicle that I think I have had for about 15 years and they still worked but the clips on them were pretty warm out so we replaced the old clips on the cables with these new ones…. I had a dead battery a couple days ago so I was able to give these a try and they worked great! I would recommend these.
These clamps are made of a thinner metal than the original. If they are clamped on and left on then they may last for a bit but if you use them much they will come apart. The plastic coating on the handle slides off to easy and the bend way to easy. I would not be supprised to find out they are copper coated metal of some kind. I think Walmart could find a much better product to sell for this price.
