Keeping a person body heat in. Plus these days these Ozark Trail Survival Blankets are awesome. Yess keeping the space blankets in your car and home are good. But these are well made and easier to wrap around yourself or others. They are small and compact and the small cost spent at the least be a comfort if needed or The Ozark Trail Survival Blanket could be a life saver...

Amazing blanket for the price. it's huge and very durable. I bought it to make a bed for a feral cat family that have adopted me. I was going to use blankets but I read that a regular blanket can be dangerous if it gets moist or damp. The cats could possibly get hypothermia so I got the mylar blanket and some straw and made them a nice little bed that will keep their body heat in. I'm just glad they have a roof over their head.

this is what I call a " JUST IN CASE" purchase. if ever I need it. I have it. with the winter winds and bitter cold. I can wrap myself in it and stay warm until heat and electric come back on . well made. I'm just praying 🙏 i won't need it. well made

Works perfectly for a cover of unlimited uses with the grommets around the edges and emergency blanket thick enough and big enough to keep your body heat in and keep you warm also under your sleeping pad to keep you dry and ground dampness and cold temperature away from you ,folds up small and space saver can carry with you anywhere.love it !

Not only would I recommend these, but I have recommended them more times than I can count. I have been purchasing these for about a decade now now and they have never disappointed. They are thicker than any other similar product of its price and much larger than I anticipated when I first purchased them. I keep one in the car for emergencies and I line my cats' beds with them. I have given them as gifts as well.

I use it for a bunk pop-out on a trailer. Helps retain heat when chilly and flip it over to help reflect sun. It also beads off water to help with that. I have also used it to create a windbreak for smoking on the grill. Can't beat it for the price.

My son and I went camping knowing a cold snap was coming. These really did help to keep us warm during the night. So far (two nights use) they have been very durable compared to regular emergency blankets. The size is good enough to wrap it around yourself. Folding them was up easy too. Unfortunately, it didn't come up with a pouch to keep them in, but a gallon sized ziplock bag is more than enough to keep them. The blaze orange color should definitely help in an emergency situation. I'm strongly considering getting some more for my vehicles. If you live in an area where it gets cooler, especially if it snows, I suggest you get some for your vehicle too.

We don't go camping much, but I keep this in the trunk of my car for emergencies. It's warm and waterproof, and the orange is super bright! It can be used as a makeshift tent (assuming you have string to hang it somewhere and/or pegs for the ground) or to cover the wet ground. This is incredibly versatile and sturdy - it's not going to get torn or damaged easily. The only downside is that it's HUGE and almost impossible to re-fold properly. So I just folded it as best I could and put it in a plastic grocery bag for storage. Overall a very useful purchase!

This is something I hope I never have to use but like having in my vehicle for peace of mind. Highly reflective, corner grommets, water proof and wind proof. You can also use it to wrap cold or frozen food for transport. It also could double as a shelter. Approx. 7 by 5 feet.
