I live in a wooden area so i constantly get bugs entering my house but this has done wonders for the most part. The fact its rain resistant is great too because i like to put one outside the front door and in the backyard tent. It doesnt take long to charge and lasts for a few days to be honest. You can also leave it plugged in for constant use if needed since it will only work when its not light out if its unplugged. You will have to get a charging block for it since it only comes with the usb charger cord but any block that fits a usb end will do. I do love the self cleaning mode it has because its amazing seeing how many bugs it caught when i dump the bottom tray. And yes you WILL hear every zap when a bug is caught which is very assuring to know its doing its job. If they made a version 3x the size of this one i would totally buy it too!
Works well keeping the bugs controlled. What I think is cool is the automatic brush that keeps the interior clean of bugs and pushes it down to the collector. Efficient tool.
Here’s my view on it and it’s very affordable and it’s great on my deck. It’s great for the summer. I can make when spring and summer comes around and when it starts warming up and then when we had the pool going on and you know it’s great idea and it’s really cute. I love this recharge.
These are great for small outdoor patios if taking on a camping trip. It is recharge with USB C and even has a brush to clean itself. It cleans automatically every 5 days but you can hold the power button for 5 seconds if you need to clean manually.
Zapper doesn't work right out of the box. I charged it overnight, push and hold the button for 2 seconds. The bulb starts to light up at the top and blinks a few times and then shuts off. I tried it over and over and over, and it just wouldn't go fully lit. I held the button longer and the wiper brush spun around. That works, kind of a cool feature, but don't help none if the bulb doesn't light up. Hopefully they exchange it.
It should really come with the proper adapter to charge. It’s not bright or strong enough to attract many bugs. It seemed like a great idea, but you might as well just be prepared to kill the insects or repel them some other way.
Just plain garbage. Lights flash to turn it on and off, even the cleaning brush rotated as expected. However, it otherwise does not work. The unit has a photo sensor that prevents it from coming on until its dark. Not dusk, but dark, so its unuseable for say during a BBQ the evening. Next the battery says to last 4 hours, nope just barely 3 hours. For is size, there is likely plenty of space inside of it for a longer lasting battery. if you want to use this in the evening, dont buy this... look for a better product.
i plugged in the usb to electricity for 2 days. i put the bug killer on my porch. nothing is happening. i am plugging the bug killer back into electricity. it would be nice to have paper information on how the bug killer worked. i suggest NO ONE waste their money on this bug killer.
This product did not zap not one bug at all. The light wouldn’t even stay on. It’s totally useless. I tried it for several days but still no result . Don’t buy
The USB charging is glitching. The charging lights won’t stay on. So I can never get a full charge. While I love the concept of this bug zapper, I bought 2 of them, and both of them are having this issue! Sadly, I cannot recommend buying this.
