I recieved 1 box of Pedialyte powder 6 count in cherry flavor. Each packet can be used in a 16oz water bottle. This product is made for fast, effective rehydration for children and adults. I use while I play tennis because I'm always drained after. It taste great and keeps me replenished and energized. I also use this when I'm sick. I rate this product 5 out of 5.
I received the Pedialyte electrolyte powder in cherry flavor. Not only was it surprisingly tasty it perked me right up after working outside in the sun all day! I like that it's easy to just pop into my purse or my kid's backpack for an easy ready to go electrolyte drink!
Better than others sport drinks
I received this item free to write a review. First of all, the size of these packets are very large compared to just other "flavor" packets you buy in the store. It must be all those electrolytes! The manufacturer suggests using the entire packet in 2 cups or 16 oz. of water. I tried it first in 4 cups. The taste was like watered down Cherry, but I don't mind that and figured the 4 cups would last me the entire 2 hours outside swimming and it did. I made it with the 2 cups for my daughter and she loved the flavor and said it was "very cherry". The most important part of these powder packs is that it keeps you hydrated and restores electrolytes. This is so important, especially in the heat of summer when you're losing it more quickly! This is a staple in our family when we go out to swim. In south Louisiana it gets really hot, really humid, and really sunny! It's so important to keep your family hydrated no matter what outdoor activity you are doing and these are just so easy to dump in a bottled water or cup! I highly recommend!
So I'm a big fan of Pedialyte and I thought these individual packets were genius! When you're traveling and you got a kid who's belly is sick and need hydrating, you can't carry the big containers with you. So the convenience of being able to just pour onto you bottle of water is great. I also made lollipops out of them. I poured it into the bottle then I filled up my ice pop container with it and put it in the freezer. It's also a great alternative especially on hot days plus it's fun for the kiddos.
I always keep pedialyte pops in my freezer for when my child is sick. Now I can also keep these powder packs in my diaper bag for emergencies as well. These are super convenient especially for when your on the go. Also, even though this is a product well known for babies and children, pedialyte is great for adults as well. After being hung over, sick, or just dehydrated, this product is easy to put in some water and drink while you recover. It tastes okay and works quickly.
Pedialyte Electrolyte cherry powder taste good and helps keep my kids hydrated. This product can also be used on adults, my father just had triple bypass surgery and drinks water allot and adding this to it allows some taste and is still healthy for him. I like that they are small individual packets which makes it easy to travel with. Great Product!!
First off I really didn't even know this Pedialyte electrolyte powder even existed. It reminds me a lot of the Crystal Light single-serving packets that you can get everywhere however I've not seen these Pedialyte once before. I think they're pretty cool as they come in little single-serve packets that make 16 oz water bottles suddenly turn into Pedialyte! They would be great for keeping your little one nice and hydrated going to the river or whatever you can pack these easily in a river bag. They're really easy to use and all you have to do is get a simple 16 oz water bottle or you can use a 16 oz cup or something of the same nature. My six-year-old wanted to try doing these herself and it was very easy for her to just open the package put it in the water bottle put the lid back on and shake and you're ready to go. One thing I have to say about this is Pedialyte is not the best steam drink. This one is Cherry and even I didn't really like it too much. I know it has a lot of stuff in it to keep your electrolytes up excetera however it's really thick and we weren't big on the flavor. It would come in good in a pinch if your kid gets sick to have these around ready for use whenever and because they are dry and powder they probably have a pretty decent shelf life.
I carry these in my bag when I take my kids on trail walks. These are good to have handy especially in the hot Florida heat. The only thing with these packs. I don't use one full pack to one bottle of a 16 oz water bottle. It's just too sweet. But my 5 year old and 10 year old really likes drinking it with half a pack and there's no after taste or anything. these are pretty good.
I have not tried this product because before I opened it I read on the bottom of the box the USE BY DATE WHICH IS 01AUG2004 13:46 This is Dec. 4. I received it Dec 2, 2024. I am not sure that I should try it as the date is 3 months past the Use by date. What would you do??????????
