I have bought 4 of these over the past few years and 3 of them still work great. Our house is small so each one heats up our 10 x 14 bedrooms. They have an oscillating function and automatic shut off. Great brand for a decent price. The unit is large in diameter and height but doesn't take up much space due to the cylindrical tower design. Very quiet.
Heats a little or a lot. Small convenience easy to use. My son was so impressed by it I got him 1 for christmas. and He and his wife say it's perfect for their small bedroom , or they're larger living room.
Pelonis space heaters = NOTHING IN THIS WORLD BETTER!!! A few years ago, my huge monster of a furnace unit just stopped working... Called my local repair service - compressor went out... Over $5, 000.00 just to replace the compressor unit = ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I began searching for a temporary fix %26 found PELONIS!!! Not for a temporary fix - A PERMANENT REPLACEMENT for the monster!!! 4 PELONIS 17 inch units heats my entire home AND my heating bill dropped until this year, lol... This year will definitely go down in the record books. And I am not alone - my son-in-law borrowed one of mine for their camper they use at races. He still has it, lol... My daughter said they acturally had to keep it on low/osc, which is the setting I use on ALL of mine to warm my home!!! WALMART - THANK YOU for offering such a wonderful item that not only lives up to their description, but goes beyond it. Each of my units last about 2 years, but for me, $160.00 every 2 years, sure does beat $5,000.00!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU PELONIS for keeping me warm in this cold world!!! No pic cause I can't get it to download as a JPEG...
the last one worked for about a year til it started smelling burned out, but it did endure accidents, being bumped around a few times, and consistent usage so I had reason not to pick up another one.
I bought this heater last year (Fall/Winter). Now it's a year later and this heater doesn't work as it did previously. Mind when not in use during the spring/summer months I kept it put up and out of the way. Now today this heater only work on Low or Oscillating Low. The dial won't allow me to get it between Low %26 oscillating Low. Which between those 2 options is the selection for “Hi”. It also does something new now. While it's on for I say 15-20minutes it'll just shut off. It's still on because when moving them dual on the left and turning all the way on Low. The light will turn on. The heat just doesn't work. Almost like overheating, but it's hard to believe it's overheating seeing as it's 30 degrees outside, I never used the oscillating feature, and the only option I have for heat is “Low”. On low it's okay but my upstairs is still chilly. All in all it seems okay first, but this is a very faulty heater. Now here I am 1year later and having to buy another one “Not This one again”.
I have bought several of these and every single one stopped working after a few months. I kept trying because it's perfect for my bathroom, but DEFINITELY not worth it. 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗.
Unit stops working only after a few minutes run time even on lowest thermostat settings. After about five minutes the unit will run again for a very short period before shutting down again. Unit does not feel hot to touch like it's overheating. It just stops working.
it worked for about 2 weeks and quit
After a week it would not turn on . The light came on fine , but when you turned the thermostat up it shuts off .
We've had this heater for approximately 4 months and it quit working. What a waste of money for an absolute piece of trash. Our previous heater lasted us 5 years before it finally died. Quality has definitely gone down hill in recent since then.
