Very easy to fill and clean. We have hard water and have had no issue with the humidifier using straight from the tap chlorinated water. Filter is easy to clean. This is the only humidifier I will consider from now on. Wish list: Would like to see a deeper reservoir fill hole to make refilling even easier. Would also like a constant on option so the unit would completely dry itself out. I'd also like to see this exact design in a larger 2 or 3 gallon unit (Keeping the same footprint).
Bought this humidifier for use in the bedroom. Runs quietly even in high all night long on one tank of water. Produces no mist as is an evaporative style that takes paper filters. Could tell a big difference the first night. A bit hard to find replacement filters for as none with the Pelonis name on them but found some generic ones online that I ordered so I has some for next year. Easy to clean which I do every couple of weeks as precaution. I do add the treatment to the tap water used to fill machine. Our water is also run thru a water softener. I would recommend this unit.
Based on the positive reviews and low price, I bought 2 of these. I like them so much I bought 2 more and use them all over the house. The best feature is how quiet they are. Noise at the highest speed is lower than the noise on low on my old humidifiers. It also puts a good amount of moisture into the air at high speed. It also has a simplified design that is impressive. It has one difference from other humidifiers - you need to fill another container with water and pour it into the top of this humidifier. The positive is that you don't take pull a water tank out to fill it. The negative is that you fill 1 container to pour it into the humidifier. I think it is a net positive.
This is a simple easy to use and maintain humidifier for 250 sq ft. I bought several to cover my rooms. The only drawback is the 1-gallon tank. This makes it necessary to refill every 14 hours. I don't find that too burdensome, however. It's quick and easy to refill. Just lift the top or carefully pour into the provided refill opening. If you're looking for an uncomplicated humidifier that's inexpensive to run and looks attractive. You can't beat the price, either.
This is a good solution to humidify your house. It simply puts water in the air. It does not vaporize. But 3 of these, I all ready own one, before I bought the other 2, gives me good humidity. I am using a gas furnace which does dry out the air. Typically it needs to be 35 on the scale. These units do this and needs a refill once every 5-6 hours. Because it does not use a coil to vaporize, you can easily use tap water to do it. I highly recommend using at least 2 and possibly 3 units in the winter. I also use a measurement device that tells you what amount of water you have in your air plus the room temperature independent of the furnace.
Very pleased. Very easy to fill, quiet while running. The best part it is evaporative so no mist and white dust all over everything. I found this to be almost half the price as the same unit on Amazon. I would highly recommend.
Only gave 4 partly my fault for buying table top size, which is what I wanted. But having dry skin, especially in winter, I keep setting on 2 and find I have to refill every 12 - 14 hours which I'm always worried about it running dry. Otherwise it runs fantastic. Extremely quiet, no white residue, and you don't see the mist even on 2nd setting. Definitely makes a difference on my skin dryness and my nose is not stuffy and I'm coughing less at night, between the air filter I already was running and this, it helps me sleep better. Something else I love is it feels slightly cooler in my room which is usually the warmest room in the home, so I love that added benefit as well. I haven't had to to change a filter yet. Have the black color and very easy to clean. Would love to have one in every room. I haven't used the aromatherapy chamber but nice to know it's there if I want to use it. Highly recommend. I run it at night primarily. I don't why it's asking me about sleep mode and night mode. Maybe I didn't read the full instructions.
These little humidifiers (I bought Two) are okay. Specific things I like: (1) Ease of removing top to fill/clean bottom portion/water reservoir. (2) Reservoir window with water level indicator (3) Auto shut-off. Specific things I dislike: 1) Cannot access the fan to clean it! 2) Filters don't last very long (even though I clean them weekly with white vinegar %26 water). 3) Filters are pricey. 4) Overall, the two humidifiers working in tandem in my living room (set on level 2) have difficulty getting the humidity level up above 29 percent.
Even on the highest setting, not much mist is released. One good thing is when the water is filled to maximum capacity, it will last awhile. I only use it when I go to bed at nite. One night of sleep(6-7 hours) I could barely notice the water level dropped. Guess that's the trade off for the low mist level. Because it doesn't produce much mist, I honestly didn't feel any different. I woke up with my eyes still dry.
Does not offer correct style of mist
