Pen + Gear Safes Model 44E20 with Electronic Lock, Backup Key, 1 Shelf, Black

I am very happy with this safe. its a meium- personal size. It has a lotore room inside, than you think it will have. It has one shelf ìnside, that is very han̈dÿ. ⁶The instructions are easy, but I will say to be sure and read them, and rhen over and over again, to make sure yoù memorize them. I pùt the instruction manual inside the safe too. And you get 2 back up keys also. But keep them in a safe, separate place. It is a good sturdy safe. The only thing I didnt like was that it is not fire proof. so feep that in mìnd. Other than that, it ia a good quality, secure safe.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas instead of a gun safe because of value instead of a regular gun safe because my husband has mostly hand guns. It was big enough for his 4 hand guns and plenty more room for valuable's and important documents. The size is good for the amount of money spent, it's heavy and durable, plus, the keypad was easy to set. You will get two keys for the lock also.

I love it, was tired of my bank and now I’m saving money. It comes with dead bolt screws, and seems very sturdy I was looking for a basic safe and it is bigger then I thought, could easily hold a lot of cash, small items such as cell phone, small note books, has a shelf which helps me keep everything organized, when unlocking the buttons make a slight noise which helps me know what I am pressing which i like as well. Never had a problem with the unlock or lock and it’s easy to reset if I do(but not too easy to be able to be opened by a theif) also comes with a set of keys which is a cool add). I bought this never having seen it and would recommend this product.

I recently purchased the Pen Gear Medium Personal Safe and it is definitely something I recommend. I love the electronic lock feature because it makes accessing your valuables so much faster and easier. It also comes with 2 keys which is a good backup to have if the electronic lock malfunctions for whatever reason. You’re able to set your own digit combination and it’s super easy to set that up. If you’re considering purchasing a small safe to store important documents or any other valuables then I definitely recommend this one!

I purchased for my daughter's dorm room and it fits her laptop, iPad Pro and her steam deck. I also hid one key in her room just in case she loses hers. Highly recommend

Really love the electronic lock…who wants to look for a key every time you want to open it. Mounted to the wall on a closet shelf, but used lag screws vs the bolts included with the safe. Seems to be well made.

For the cost this is a good product. I had trouble with the screws provided. My handyman said they were for concrete not wood and he provided alternate screws. Not sure if this is accurate or not but that's what he said. Think about how you want to secure this safe in your home. If you bolt to floor that means you basically have to lie down to use it. If you bolt to a closet shelf - need to consider how solidly connected the shelf is in said closet because someone might easily remove a small shelf and the said together.

If not using daily it's fine. Great for coins, papers etc but as a firearm safe I recommend a fingerprint scanner. this is cumbersome and not easy to open. Elderly will struggle with the knob as it is slippery and tough to grip/pull. Add a bar on it to pull forward.

Paid full price for a safe and got an item that had been previously opened, with a discounted sticker, and obviously broken buttons, but it doesn't work. Can't get the store to answer the phones to correct the issue.
