As always walmart always saves my day. I work from home and use this app frequently due to the convenience and promptness of being able to get what I need in a hurry. it's small if it's great on my computer desk doesn't take up a lot of room and I love the fact that's battery operated so I don't have to worry about using a plug-in

Pen + Gear This pencil Sharpener is a small compact sharpener, and can be used for all school ages! My child is in Kindergarten, and she can use this fine. It fits in my hand, and doesn't take up much space at all on my work desk. This is definitely needed this school year especially doing more school work at home. It comes with two AA batteries, and it's ready to use! I've sharpened regular NO.2 pencils, and the pencils with the plastic wrapper (you know, the ones with the characters on it that the kids "HAVE to get?") It sharpens them nicely too! It gives a great sharp point. The shreds container fits snug and it didn't pop open when I dropped it accidentally. Overall I really like this one.

batteries that are put unit usually only last 3 days then need to be changed out we barely use it. but i feel like it should lasr longer then a few days

Disappointed. For all the reasons mentioned by others. It is Cute. On the whole the Pen %26 Gear products are great. Just not this pencil sharpener. Getting ready to return it for a refund. siiiigghhhh.

i like the ready to use out the box. Hate the fact it would literally chip groves in my pencils chipping whole chucks out making it hard to even use. honestly a manual one works better.
