Purchased this for a lot of bare spots for the Bermuda bare spots in our backyard. Putting topsoil down because we have clay in those areas. It has done wonders so far we've purchased two bags of these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I followed the instructions laying it down thick but id I could do it over I would do it thinner and make sure to water it more frequently. There was a smaller bald spot we put the leftover on and I can't find it. It worked much better in that spot. I truly think I just have a dead zone because of my windows reflecting heat. It also doesn't help we haven't had much rain. I do think I could do better doing it again. I think this is a very convenient product and is recommended it.

Worked as expected, but didn't cover as much area as expected.

I followed directions exactly, prepping the soil, laying as instructed, watering as instructed. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. VERY disappointing to say the least. So glad I tried it on a small patch before I purchased additional bags. Save your money and do not buy this product.

didnt get any grass but the weeds are doing fine. i did prep the soil and watered every day but no grass
