Perky-Pet 32 oz Mason Jar Hummingbird Feeder

All the birds are getting used to it. The level of nectar was a lot lower this morning, so I know the bat (s) are getting used to it also. There are two pluses for this hummingbird feeder. 1. The holes are encircled in metal and are small enough to prevent bees from getting in and drowning. 2. The perch surrounding the feeder is metal and will not get destroyed when heavy woodpeckers and bats alight. IT'S A NICE FEEDER!!!!

Item was as described on the web site and was delivered quickly. Great communication from Walmart.com in advising when item had arrived and pickup was a breeze. I ordered this hummingbird feeder in particular because the "flowers" around the base are either metal or very hard plastic. These last much longer than the plastic ones found on other feeders. The base is also metal. When cleaning the feeder the base and flowers stand up better to a scrubbing than the plastic ones. The birds also love it!!!

It's a good hummingbird feeder. I bought it for the wide mouth that I cannot put my hand in there, but I will clean it with a brush.. made in China by the way.

I really like the design of this item, because it was different from ones I have had in the past. However, it seems I have had no visitors, to this feeder, and the nectar has sat so long it has actually lost it's red color. I think that maybe the lack of red, in the design, is causing the hummingbirds not to be drawn to it. The glass is not red, nor are the flower feeding ports . I guess maybe a red ribbon would have to be attached to the hook or some red artificial flowers,so the hummingbirds would seek it out, seems like alot of extra hassle to me. Too bad, it's a really neat product, but doesn't seem functional.

Had a heard time getting the base to fit properly after filling the jar with nectar. The nectar kept spilling out.

This is an aluminum base, poorly fitting and will probably over heat and burn the birds feet. The jar mouth is good and large but the screw fitting does not appear to seal. Overall not Worth the money. The jar itself appears good but is useless without the feeder apparatus.

We have many of this style so had such hopes this would be similar to others we purchased but the glass doesn't fit straight and properly on the base. It does not screw on but rather supposed to somehow attach with odd bumps in the metals that are supposed to hold the glass piece. We couldn't get the pieces to stay together without any nectar in them so didn't dare try to fill as it would surely leak. Sad that I have to wait for more. So many hummers this year They are fighting over a couple feeders and I need more!

Not what I thought they would be. It is very hard to not cross thread these and it the bottoms are not 100% on correct all the nectar runs out. Much more bulky then the standard feeder and my hummingbirds don't use it for some reason.
