This is the ideal way to feed your hummingbirds. So easy to mix just the amount needed without having to refrigerate leftover nectar. The hummingbirds seem to love it as well since we now have more birds since I started using it.

This hummingbird food is wonderful. my little guys love it, and the nectar defender keeps it from spoiling too quickly. Even with how rapidly the birds are drinking it right now in high summer, if i use just sugar water, a film will develop in the feeder within 24-48 hours. Even mixing half of naturally fresh with half sugar makes it keep longer and prevents any growth overnight. Still clean your feeders though! Good feeder hygiene makes for happy little hummers.

I liked how it lasted, however now it's gotten even more expensive. I will go back to sugar and water.

Mixed okay however it has drawn no hummingbirds or anything else to it.

The description says "96 ounces". You get a 21 ounce bag. You can buy more for less money in the stores (same or different brands). This advertising is mis-leading. Maybe it "makes" up to 96 ounces, but that is not what the main tag-line says. Disappointed.
