Great game. Beautiful graphics
excelent game
Loved it, it was a gift
This game is an absolute MUST BUY if you own a PS4 and love JRPG's. It is one of those games I can see me putting hundreds and hundreds of hours on. I've had it 3 days and already have 30+ hours on it and I just completed the first big story. Graphically, the game has pizzazz, even the menus look amazing. Gameplay is top notch and I just don't see this being a game I will stop playing anytime soon.
Persona 5 is one of the best JRPGs I have ever played. You play as the "protagonist" (which you end up creating a name for), a teenager who comes to the aid of a woman in distress, and ends up with a criminal record in the process. He ultimately reports to Sojiro Sakura, owner of small coffee shop, who becomes his guardian during his probation. While attending a new school, his world turns even more upside down when he finds himself traveling in and out of our reality. The game has a typical JRPG format - heavily story driven with turn based battles against enemy creatures in a dungeon-style landscape. Each character you control during battles has access to a Persona which provides additional methods of attack (which consume SP, so you have to manage the use of Personas when navigating a series of dungeons). I have played tons of games over the last forty years, and I have to say the artwork and general style of the game is amazing. Royal takes the base game and ands some new elements to it. The storyline has changed a bit - there's a new character introduced early in the story that wasn't in the base game, the protagonist now wields a grappling hook to reach certain out-of-reach areas or to escape battles, there are new objects to find while exploring dungeons, firearms now refill ammunition after each battle, you can stay up later at night without the game forcing you to end the day, there is a new Theives Den which acts like a trophy room (to display awards, objects from the game, character outfits, listen to game music, watch videos from the game, play a card game called Tycoon with other characters, etc). There's enough new content to make this a must grab for fans of Persona 5. If you are not sure about the game, check out some game play online before grabbing a copy.
Was exactly as described.
I like that there is a lot of depth to this game. It's not one that you play through quickly. There's even a daily calendar your character goes by with being in school and then tasks to complete out of school. This game has been talked about which made me get it after checking out reviews on YouTube. I recommend seeing the actual game play on YouTube and seeing what you think.
my kids love this game
Stylish, simple battle tactics, upgrade options and supports. Characters have great personalities and you can develop further relationship with them. Lengthy game to finish game with true ending, like 100 hours. Too much dialogue but can be skipped or fast forwarded.
