I have 7 cats %26 they are putting this thing to work! I use this %26 one regular litter box %26 it has made my job 10x easier. Easy to setup, sturdy %26 cleans great. My cats have really tested the safety stop %26 it also works great. Make sure to use clumping litter. No issues with odors at all. When the bottom tray if full its easy to close %26 remove the bag without causing a mess. My cats absolutely love it. After a week of them thinking it was a fun carnival ride they are all just simply enjoying the clean litter routine.
100% Yes!!!! I highly recommend this! My cat is not scared of it at all… It is very quiet… I love the fact that I do not have to touch it except for pulling the bag out and throwing it in the garbage… I liked the little Matt that comes with it so when my cat jumps out all the little pieces of glitter that are stuck to his paws go in that mat… And it's very unique the way it's made.. just remember you cannot use crystals in this Auto litter box… I find that armor and hammer is a great litter for this specific Auto litter box… It has a very nice scent to it and does what it's supposed to do perfectly, just make sure you get the litter bentonite. I know it sounds expensive for the Auto litter box, but you'll find it is so much worth the money.! personally I don't think $139 is very much for as long as this thing will be in your household for your cats ;) You will not be disappointed in anyway… Get you one for your household and just sit back and relax with no worries
I've only had this a couple of days, but I think it is better than Litter Robot (LR) 3 ($550) and Litter Robot 4 ($700). I had massive issues with both LRs — they would get stuck and blink red, start going backward, and just malfunction and not run. I cleaned both thoroughly and followed other troubleshooting tips from the LR site. I was going to buy another LR when my last one finally crapped out, but they are now $800-$1,000, and I just couldn't do it. The PetPivot, which I hadn't heard of before googling for an auto litter box, is super quiet and makes less of a mess in the unit itself. A downside is that it is smaller inside than the LRs, but my babies are very petite (they were runts in different deliveries, as they are half-siblings with different mothers), and they have adapted well and merely changed their sitting/squatting positions, turning kind of sideways instead of going in and turning around to face the opening like they did for the LRs. There is no lingering smell. The cleaning cycle is quick. There is a delay between the box turning to cover the waste and then dropping the waste into the bottom, which is done to give the scooping litter time to do its thing and clump well. For each cycle, it runs twice. It doesn't take long for this two-step cycle. I love it, and I'm so glad I found a cheaper alternative to the LRs. Do NOT use non-clumping litter in automatic litter boxes! They will break. I wish I would have found this box before I bought the LRs. Oh, and it came with some litter bags, which is great and keeps the bottom tray clean and removing the waste a breeze.
So much better than scooping! totally worth it! the cord is somewhat short so plan ahead for that if its not within I think 3 feet of a plug. came with everything I needed but the litter and the extension cord. bags are included:)
So far love it. Has taken a few try's to figure it out but overall does a great job and no more litter box smell. 2 cat household
The instruction was clear and easy. It works very well.
This works great my kitten loves it and it was simple to put together !!!!!!
Much better than my daughter's $400 auto litter box! I'm totally serious! I love it and so do my 2 cats. Easier to put together than Legos. No tools or screws. I've tried many types of litter but always come back to my fave> Arm %26 Hammer, Seal, Clump %26 Slide. One box for 2 cats, emptied twice per week lasts 2 weeks. Work involved, pull out drawer, tie the bag of poo clumps and dump the bag in your trash bin. Bam all done! PS. Does a good job controlling litter odor.
Somehow wet litter is compiling underneath the litter bed, it continues to happen every single time I clean and reassemble it. That as well as small clumps are getting stuck in the grates, which makes me worry about mold in the upper section of the litter chamber. Lastly, I keep it on automatic mode and I still have to manually scoop when my cat pees, otherwise it will just pile up and trap even more moisture into the litterbed. I contacted the seller and received a response about how to operate the litterbox? Plus, it was less than 24 hours later but it didn't even address the issue one bit. Explanation From Seller "Based on your description, we suspect that your litter box may have switched from automatic mode to manual mode. Let us explain the two operation modes of the litter box: 1) Automatic Mode: When the litter box is powered off and then restarted, if the cleaning button is not pressed, it defaults to automatic mode. A. Infrared Sensor Activation: If the infrared sensors.. "
Wastes so much litter and you would have to add litter to it couple times a day and empty back and scoop through whats in back as both Clumps and litter gets dumped in back and would waste so much if didn't scoop through it and we have tried several types of scoopable litter and it causes more work and cost more money than if we just used a regular litter box in the first place . Totally disappointed in this and loss of money as well as unfortunately husband threw box was delivered in out and now can't send back and get our money back . Totally regret this purchase and can't belive was rated high but if check YouTube you see so many others had same issues with their's
