They work way better then the metal flea calms and they hurt the animals less as they don't dig like the metal flea combs do.

Combs work on pets too
This comb worked wonders on my miniature cat, Stubby. He caught Lice from my granddaughter. She was scratching her head then she went to scratching him and sure enough poor stubby had lice. These combs worked great! Every time the white lice eggs rose to the surface of his beautiful black fur, I would use the comb on him.
