Light strip broke already, has blue lights that won't change color

Good lighting
My strip lighting was easy to set up and looks great. Very vibrant. I wish I had read more about the glow lighting because the gradient is not as seamless lighting wise .

As worthwhile as all my Hue purchases
Love all my Hue stuff, they always work seamlessly and this was no different. It's bright, segmented, and sticks great without needing reapplication. Highly recommended to anyone that already enjoys other Hue products.

Hue nerfed these strips
They changed these in sync app, you can no longer move or set vertically or put what side the plug is on, used to love these now they're useless in entertainment area, just sits in one spot like the hue play TV lights.

Nice for the right application
The experience adding it to and controlling it from the app is pretty seamless and like you would expect if you already have other Hue products. Had a hard time getting the backing off the tape, and not ending up pulling the entire double-sided tape from the strip. I do think the strip is pricey and it works best if you install it as one long strip. Going around tight corners is not easy at all and it may come back off. They should sell 90-degree flexible corners for this, so you can cut the strip up in straight pieces and use the corners to make a bend.

Great gradient.
The gradient light is great. Why just have one color for the lights over your upper cabinets. That's boring. This changes everything. My day is better and brighter now.

Light strip broken upon arrival. When plugging up, only a small amount of strip would light up or none would.

Replacement for Home Office Fluorescents
I got this at the same time as the longer main unit & I'm glad I did. It was the perfect length for replacing old buzzing fluorescent lights in the trimmed out balcony enclave area around the vaulted / sloped ceiling in the finished first floor office. I normally leave the whole high wall to purple - pink. Much brighter than I thought they were going to be! I would buy another extension to wrap around the wings of the paneled balcony.
