Pillsbury Pumpkin Quick Bread & Muffin Mix, 14 oz

This was the first time I used this pumpkin mix, I normally make pumpkin spiced muffins from scratch, however I needed to make a couple dozen for a meeting and decided to pick up a couple boxes of mix. I did use butter instead of oil and milk instead of water. My husband couldn't tell the difference.

I have made bread and muffins before with this mix they both are amazing. Extremely moist and flavorful. My family raved about them. I turned my husband into a pumpkin fan using this mix.

Yes...my go to for bread or muffins. I wait all year for this to come out, stock up on it so I have enough to last till spring! Toss in some nuts and dried cranberries and I have Thanksgiving on a breakfast plate!

I thought these were for bread making machines so I put in a batch. Totally watery mess! So, when it went into the beating mode I kept adding Bisquick (or whatever brand is in the container here now). I must have put in another cup or 1-1/2 cups and it was barely forming a dough ball. Oh well, I figured. About half an hour before the time was to end (I set it on Regular Dark), the dough suddenly rose to about 2 inches from the top of my 2-pound machine canister! It turned out to be delicious! It was still a bit moist so some of it did fall apart but it wasn't wet dough like when some loaves don't quite finish. I'm going to 1) try making this in the oven and 2) continue working on my bread maker machine experiment!

I like to doctor it up a bit, but good as is.

We can't keep this in the house. Everytime I make some of this stuff it's gone in a few hours. It is unbelieveably easy to make and taste great. It freezes well and great for making pumpkin muffins in the morning for the kids. Pilsbury has knocked it out of the park with this one.

I love pumpkin bread and this product is the best and easiest I have found .

What a great item. It is easy to use, no fuss, no mess, taste great, and a terrific price. I make a pumpkin loaf, and my husband takes a slice, pops it into the toaster to have with his coffee. He loves it and so do I, we both love pumpkin.
