Shake 'N Bake Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix, 2 Count Packets

I grew up on Shake and Bake. Still a favorite comfort food of mine......either Shake and Bake chicken on bone in chicken thighs or Shake and Bake pork chops, with boxed au gratin potatoes, canned green beans with bacon and onions, and a package of muffin mix....... I've tried other brands of chicken and pork coating. Will always prefer any variety of Shake and Bake, but extra crispy is definitely the best.

I've been eating shake and bake since I was a kid and now I'm using it as an adult I enjoyed a lot it's changed a little bit which it might be something to look at and the amounts that you put in the box but besides that bring your product but I'm still using even to this day

This was really good to my surprise. I remember seeing the commercials for this as a kid in the 90s and thought I’d try it. I did use a tiny bit of salt and pepper on the chicken before coating with the Shake N Bake because I didn’t know if it would be seasoned enough. It came out so perfect. I’ll be using this all the time now for quick, baked, crispy chicken.

An Oldie But Goodie Lip Smackin Good! Absolutely delicious! My chicken wings - of course bought at Walmart turned out SoOoOoOo yummy and cooked up perfectly in my air fryer and thanks to Shake N Bake Extra Crispy it was the juciest most delicious chicken ever! I'm hooked and will be definitely back for more; a lot more! Bonus it's a win win, a double packet pleasure a tasty treat for the taste buds! Just another reason to love Walmart with great low prices that are pocketbook friendly....I couldn't ask for anything more! Crispy baked chicken without all the calories or grease! You could even prepare it in your work clothes without worrying about grease splatter from a frying pan! Extra crispy adds more of a zing to your chicken! This shake and bake makes the chicken sooo tender and moist! ... NOT at all dry! Easy to use...takes only a few minutes to coat the chicken! Put mix in bowl and cover the pieces of chicken with the mix...its that simple! Throw on a greased cookie sheet and pop into oven! You will have this delicious chicken done in no time! If you like baked chicken but are looking to " spruce" it up. ..this is the perfect product.

The flavor was actually really good, nice and seasoned with a solid crunch once baked. That said, the color of the seasoning was a little off-putting and didn’t look as appetizing as I expected before cooking. Also, keep in mind you’ll need to use your own bowl or a plastic gallon bag to coat the chicken, since it doesn’t come with a shaking bag inside. Convenient overall and tasty once it’s done, just not the prettiest in the prep stage.

3 stars to remain neutral with this product. I've used it before per the instructions and it was great. Recently, I tried using in my air fryer and the results were not so good. So, 5 stars for oven use and 3 for air fryer.

Same product that we know and love, but this last I bought it there were no plastic bags included. I found a bag to use, but it didn't work as well as those that they provide. I don't know if this was a problem with their manufacturing facility or if they quit putting them in packages. Frustrating....

I bought this out of curiosity. My curiosity is sated and I won't be buying this again. What I normally do with flour and seasoning myself tasted better than this. If you want a plain, no frills piece of chicken go for it. It wasn't all that extra crispy, either.

Very disappointed that Shake %26 Bake has decided to omit the 2 plastic bags in their products! Something that’s such a small thing they have turned into a big ordeal for the customer. WOW!! Because of this otherwise small issue, I will not purchase this anymore, I will buy Oven Fry instead!
