Pit Boss Insulated Blanket for 1000 Series Grills

The sale they had was great I highly recommend the insulation blanket I live in Random Lake Wisconsin and its cold I was able to cook brats yesterday I was able to keep a steady temperature on what I set. With out the blanket it would have taken a lot longer to cook them. 👍

Used while in Ohio during winter. Used in snow with windy conditions. Insulated so well that it maintained cooking temperature better than expected.

Works amazing ! Did a over night pork butt in 2 degree weather no issues held temp amazingly and it majorly has help cut down on pellet use especially in these cold winter months.

Bought this grill blanket to fit a model1100 because the measurements are the same as the1000 used it new years to do abatch of chicken wings it was 17 degrees and the thing worked excellent kept temp greart

Definitely a great buy. My pellet smoker heats up faster and stays at the correct temp with no problems, even in cold weather. Uses a crap load less of pellets which is a big win.

It fit perfectly. I wasn't expecting the magnets to attach it so that was a pleasant surprise. It really holds the heat in as well, even on cold ND winter days!

Love the insulation and durability works really good the only drawback for me is the shelf in the front of the smoker won't allow the blanket to adhere to the outside wall of the smoker in the front . It's sticking to the shelf with the magnets. Not a big deal just a little extra work.

Nice cover, it has discoloration around the thermometer opening but it doesn't affect anything. It seems to keep heat in the smoker very well

The blanket is not made for this smoker and was going to return it. I called Pit Boss to order one that fits and found out they do not make a blanket for this series. After talking to them I decided to keep it because they compared the size of the blanket to the dimensions of the smoker and verified it is the only blanket option. So if you don't mind the open circle in the front and the look that screams, "I am not a custom fit" then this will work for you.

I didnt like how item recived was unfortunetly used. It does fit my 1150DX smoker a bit on a larger side but it will do now to get some meat smoking and see how it does in negative air temps! update to come
