Pocono Organic Cream of Buckwheat Cereal, 13 Oz

My wife uses this as an alternative to oatmeal and is very please with the easy of replacement in her warm cereal recipes.

I don't snack on cereal. I like it for breakfast.

I have recently discovered that my body likes buckwheat. However, when I made my own hot cereal from buckwheat groats, they tasted terrible. I was ordering some cold cereals and decided to give this one a try. What a pleasant surprise! It tasted great and really filled me up. This will be a nice addition to my non egg breakfast menus. Since it is Gluten free I and add it to baking bread, muffins, cakes, cookies...It makes it crunch or chew better and reminds me of whole wheat.

We used the recipe on the back of the box and it was delicious. We've ordered the recipe book shown on the bottom of the box and eagerly await it's arrival. $3 seems a fair price for it, but 6 week delivery is a bit long.

So good and it arrived in less than 24 hours! i just wish it was more affordable.

I received a different product than what is pictured here, but my purchase history says this is what I purchased so this is what I am reviewing.. I suspect that the product pictured here has been discontinued or something, because I can't find it anywhere. If you really like this product, just be warned that you will likely be receiving a different, similar, but lower quality product instead. The texture and flavors are just not as good.
