Podravka Vegeta Bag 1000g

The Italian restaurant I work at uses this seasoning on everything. I purchased to throw over chuck roast , onion, jalapeno, beans for a crockpot soup. Awesome flavor.

I mix Vegeta and dehydrated onion flakes to make my burger meat delicious. I also season my cooked veggies with it. I season my chicken cutlets with Vegeta amd garlic powder before I flour and fry them. Yum!!

This is a staple in my kitchen, and since my Polish husband introduced me to it some fifteen years ago, I'd be lost without it, though I do make it a point to source the Vegeta that does NOT contain MSG. This is wonderful for seasoning most soups, and a lot of other savory foods besides, and I use it in place of salt, as it additionally adds the flavors from the many different vegetables it contains; hence the name - Vegeta. I've used it in rice, beans, stews, casseroles, bone broth, and probably a lot more that I'm forgetting at the moment. I find that it adds a depth of flavor that is simply absent without it. Keep in mind that, since salt is a primary ingredient, you'll want to add a little at a time the first few times you use it, until you get a feel for its potency. Price went up by almost 100% (from $8 to $15.24) compare to year 2024..! It's a robbery.

When the bag was delivered both bags were torn open and looked like mice got into them.

The bag was torn and the Vegeta was spilled into the box. I won't order again because this was the second time the product arrived torn!
