Pokémon Violet - Nintendo Switch [Digital]

the game arrived immediately when I purchased it. and it went straight into my Nintendo switch. I've been playing it for about a week now and its 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. LOVE IT. SO MUCH TO DO IN THE GAME

Feels a lot more like Pokemon classic than I thought it would, I appreciate the continued departure from the classic 2D aerial style. I look forward to putting 100 hours on this game.

It's a little slow to start and sometimes frustrating that you always run into pokemon but its a fun game overall

Great game, one of the best modern pokemon games if you dont have someone complaining in your ear about it

Pokémon Violet is the series at its most adventurous. For the first time, the whole region of Paldea is open from the start, and you can explore it however you like on the back of Miraidon, the sleek, futuristic legendary that works as both your partner and your motorbike. Cresting a hill and spotting a new Pokémon roaming the field never stops being exciting. The story is split into three paths: the classic Gym challenge, a hunt for giant Titan Pokémon, and a showdown with Team Star. That structure keeps things fresh, and the cast is one of the warmest the series has had. The final chapter has real emotional weight. Terastallizing adds a satisfying layer of strategy, letting you change a Pokémon's type mid-battle and flip a matchup on its head. Add co-op exploration with friends, picnics with your team, and a terrific new lineup of creatures, and Violet feels like the Pokémon adventure many fans imagined as kids. It has rough edges, but its sense of freedom and charm makes it easy to recommend.

Pokémon Violet offers an ambitious leap forward for the franchise with its truly open-world design and three engaging, intertwining storylines. The new "Let's Go" auto-battle feature and the Terastallizing mechanic add refreshing tactical layers to the classic formula. However, the experience is significantly held back by notable technical issues, including frequent frame rate drops, visual bugs, and inconsistent performance. It is a highly enjoyable and charming adventure, provided you can look past its lack of technical polish.

Violet is a fun game. it won't blow your socks off with the best graphics, performance and what not but it is exceptionally fun like all Pokemon games. The open world is a fun way to innovate on prior concepts and this franchise is a great fit for it. I do miss the linearity of prior entries where you battle your way up through the gyms but all in all a solid outing. Best played on a switch 2 for the performance gains

runs amazing on the switch 2!

I like how the graphics the game

Listen, Pokemon is going to Pokemon. Catch Pokemanz, grind out some levels, battle trainers, etc. If you liked previous versions then jump in and give it a try. You know what the deal is. Just don't expect too much of an advancement. This ain't no Digimon after all.
