Super gift for scientific minded child.
1st gift 8 yr old granddaughter wanted to play with after opening all of her gifts. It did require an adult to help. She is advanced for her age and loved making this spider.

Fun as well as "gross" !
Got this for my 8 yr old grandson. He is into doing stuff like this and it being "gross" things makes him love it even more! This will keep him entertained indoors when the weather isn't being 'nice" .

Horrible
Bought this for my daughter for her birthday. We followed the directions sheep by step to make the petri dishes and rub the dirty cotton swabs across it. The gelatin didn't set very well and after waiting two days to see if there was anything that had grown, there was absolutely no change. My daughter was so disappointed.
