We have had a bigger kit that we still use, so these two are a nice addition to our tool kit. One drill and one impact driver comes in this kit with batteries and charger. Not all drills/Driver comes with battery. They come in a little bag for easy storage and moving. The battery life is also very good. They have a little slot in front to keep little screw driver thing in. They are powerful enough for us. I will highly recommend these.

For years now, I have been buying cheaper and less quality drills and the first thing that goes is the batteries. So off course I end up buying another battery for it. Problem solved for the time being. The problem with that is the battery either becomes obsolete or eventually the store stops carrying it and now I’m stuck with a cheap none working drill. I end up having to throw it out. I have used this product in the past as we have them at my job. I have had very good luck with using them at work as the batteries last a lot longer than other models and you get better performance out of the tool as well. The tools are just very dependable and have not let me down. It feels very comfortable in your hands and the drill is balanced well with the battery. Speaking about the battery 20V Lithium now that’s the top of the line as for what to use these days. I may get a different charger in the future but we will have to wait and see how long it takes to charge a battery back up with it. The driver is a bonus as well, I have wanted one but never wanted to spend to money on myself. I will say these tools will certainly help with building the next bunch of Honey bee hives come this winter and into the spring. Oh my goodness I used these tonight and they were flawless. I used the driver to run a 3” screw through a 2x6 and into a 2x4 end grain and it didn’t hesitate. I love this combo it’s a beast. Blows my Makita 9Volt out of the water and I loved that 25 years ago lol. I hope this helps someone down the road.

I received this set as part of the Spark Review Program. I do own a set of Dewalt drill and impact driver set. But it's a few years old, and I couldn't pass up power tools so.... Anyhow, I love my Dewalt set, so the Porter Cable drill and driver set had a lot to prove. Boy, it sure came through with flying colors. First, the set came with its own sturdy carrying bag. This is helpful to keep everything organized. The drill and driver's look and feel is very sturdy. The grip feels very natural. Also, the impact driver felt a little lighter than my Dewalt driver. This makes a difference after using it for a day of project so as not to cause wrist/hand fatigue. Battery life was good too. I used it for about six hours while putting together a chicken coop/run. At the end of the day, it still had enough juice to keep going from a single charge (I did charge it fully the night before). I am very pleased with the performance. I think it really performed well at a cost that's about $60-80 less than my other set. I would recommend this without reservation to a friend or family member.

My old drills are 18-Volt and they are heavy and bulky. These drills have a much smaller, trimmer, 20-volt battery, that packs a lot of punch. Love, love, love the little led light to help see and guide you to what you're working on. These will be put to lots of use for many years to come!

I received my Porter Cable Combo Kit from the Spark Reviewer Program. This drill and impact driver combo kit comes with 2 ion batteries, 1 charger, a double ended bit tip, screwdriving bit, and a convenient storage bag. We have lots of tools in our house and garage, so being able to keep this combo kit together in a storage bag is very helpful. I did not have to charge them when they arrived. They were both ready to go. The drills have tons of power. Powerful enough to drive through a stud with ease. They both have a good, comfortable grip. Both drivers have a bit tip holder, which I think is a smart idea. We also like the led work light on these drivers. The battery is very simple to slide on, and with the push of a button it pops right out. We are very impressed with our Porter Cable Combo kit and would definitely recommend.

These drills are great! Ordered these to replace ones we got several years ago. Disappointed to find both batteries are not just uncharged but bad. Contacted porter cable and they are supposed to be sending replacement batteries which are newer models. That was a week ago. Did not return to Walmart because drills work and thought if we reordered same kit we might get same dead batteries.

I just ooen the package looks almost the same as the pervious model. Till you take a closer look. The head is plastic now,the battery indicater lights are gone, the magnetic top is no more, and the chager is very cheap. This is the 3rd porter cable i have bought. The other two were well used and burnt up after a long period. Still have them (in pictures below.) Also the belt clip is not on the new model.

Shipped with bottom of the line batteries and charger. Tools are compact and latest technology... Drill Chuck is also a lower quality than I would like. All in all you get what you paid for... Fit finish and overall quality appears to be average... The third party seller shipped quickly and is the highpoint of my review..

The drill worked great for about 10 months until the forward/reverse toggle switch broke. It's under warranty so I'm shipping it back for repairs for free but thrilled about what that says for its quality.

Batteries completely dead wouldn't charge. on charger all night. Blinking red light.
