Great buy
I have other cookie scoops but this one is amazing. I love it. It produces uniformed cookies and cupcakes, and releases so much more easily than my other scoop of the same size.

Well-made Scoop
Works better than previous ones I have had in the past that quit releasing properly after some use. I purchased two of these and we made nearly 300 perfectly-formed meatballs for a community meal.

I purchased a cheaper option and I wish I would have paid for this one instead of wasting my money. This scoop is made much better and is easy to clean.

I love that I don't have to use a spoon anymore to bake cookies. This scoop is a definite addition to any kitchen.

Doesn't slip cogs even with heavy cookie dough
I'm a professional chef and I've used all kinds of scoops like this. Other than maybe one or two super costly pro ones, this is the best scoop I've used. I make cookies with heavy doughs and most scoops will get hung, then slip out of the cogs of the dough swiping mechanism. This one is super sturdy and hasn't slipped on me yet.

Portion Control
Prep Solution Cookie Scoop, works amazing. I like the idea that I can use this scoop for many other items! I use it for making the perfect round meatballs, measuring batter into muffin cups, or cake batter for cupcakes. The ideas are endless. An ergonomically designed handle, lessens the pressure, of one's hand. Super easy and making cookies etc never could be easier.

I needed a 2 tablespoon scoop and got a 3 tablespoon scoop. I did not see anything in app on size and searched for 2 tablespoon scoop.

Five months to the day. I used this successfully for a batch of cake batter cookies. It failed to work with regular cookie dough. It was fine for pancake batter. It's a good size. But the mechanism sucks with the scooping "blade" getting out of alignment when faced with any resistance. Unfortunately now I can't use it at all since the plastic handle broke. If you just need it once for batter or soft dough, it'll work. Not useful for standard cookie dough.
