Presto Ceramic Electric Griddle/Warmer Plus, Black 07024

I love using this griddle to make breakfast on the weekends. It heats up very quickly and has a non-stick surface (ceramic) but I still use just a bit of oil and everything turns out perfectly. If your looking for a griddle that has a lot of cooking space, has a built in serving plate, and is a snap to clean, this is the one!

Can't beat it for the price, honestly I'm not sure what more a griddle that's twice the price could offer? It heats fast, easy to clean and works perfectly! I made the best pancakes I've ever made with it on Christmas morning so if you're in the market, I highly recommend it!

I have a Blackstone griddle which is useless in the wind. We have a lot of wind in West Texas. I like to cook bacon and sausage patties ahead then freeze them for future use. I was looking for something to cook with outdoors in the wind without too much trouble. I found it! I am so happy with this electric griddle! Clean up is about the same as the Blackstone - maybe a little easier. If there was a con to this product I would say the non-stick surface is very slick and you have to chase what you are cooking around the surface. If you can live with THAT - then 5 stars it is! I highly recommend this griddle!!

Washing this unit is an easy task. Make sure that you wait until it is completely dry before you plug it in. Water and electricity don't mix well. The feet on the unit are even. The countertop is more than likely uneven because of the way all houses settle after being built. It is like having my own professional grill on a small scale. Feeling like a short order cook while cooking on this unit. Everything from pancakes to hamburgers cooks evenly and fast. Now my time in the kitchen is a lot shorter. Thank you. Ever try to cook pancakes on the stove? It is archaic at best. Perfect for two people. If I had a small family this would still work. If you make more tha 8 pancakes at a time you might think about a bigger griddle. The pancakes only take a couple of minutes to cook. So, for us this is perfect.

I love this griddle. its larger then I thought it would be. I cooked bacon, eggs and pancakes so quickly. Clean up was so easy. Question I had just to let you know, the small warming tray is not heated by electricity bit gets just a little warm because its connected to the griddle. Not disappointed.

Really like this grill. It has a large cooking surface %26 like the square design. We can get a lot more on it %26 it heats up nicely. It keeps an even temperature. Glad they came up with this design. The only thing we don't like is the little warming tray. It's kind of a nuisance. It would be better if they could design it with a warming tray under the grill like most. If they did that, it would be near perfect.

So, short and sweet, the griddle is pretty nice. It’s a nice size, where you can cook quite a few things at one time. I had to get use to the length, because it’s wide, not long. Either way, you need a good enough space to utilize the entire grill, including the warming tray. The grill cooks great! Not gonna lie. It keeps its temperature 🤒 Loved that. My only question is, how does the warming tray come into play? It works fabulously as a steamer and a holding/transporting tray, but warmer, not so sure how that works. I put potatoes in the tray while cooking steak and the potatoes were barely warm by the time the steak was cooked. Took about 5-7 minutes. In any event, I was able to flip the tray over and reheat the potatoes quickly so no love lost here. But overall, I’m very happy with the grill and would recommend it.

The griddle does not heat and cook evenly across the whole cooktop. You can definitely tell where the heating elements are underneath. The middle cooks significantly cooler than the outer edges. Otherwise, I would give it a 5 star rating. Since I have found this same issue with my other griddles, I still recommend this one.

The griddle has been great for pancakes and quesadillas! It seems to cook evenly and the warmer is nice. It’s important to note that the warmer doesn’t have any electrical features. Its close proximity to the griddle surface is the reason it stays warm. I removed one star because the heating element creates a stain on the surface of the griddle after first use. So it looks ugly but still works fine.

I am a fire chief. Christmas Day I saw my daughter using this device. she complained to smoke coming from the skillet temperature control. I unplugged it, and she pulled out three of the same plugs that had the same problem. there was absolutely no ground wire as recommended by NFPA, nor UL possible for this device in the United States. D0 NOT OPERATE THIS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRICAL DEVICE WITHOUT A GOOD EARTH GROUND. YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE THREE WIRES / 3 PRONGS ON THE DEVICE YOU PLUG IN. DO NOT BREAK OFF THE ROUND PRONG.
