Presto Kitchen Kettle Ceramic Deep Fryer/Multi-Cooker

I just received mine. I am super excited qabout usung it! I have not had one in 13 years and missed my old one. My first Presto Deep Fryer lasted 12 years with constant use feeding a family of six! There is nothing like french fries or tator tots or home-made egg rolls for examle from a deep fryer! This brand is superior imķquality.It is associated with many hazardous family mealsls and this one will probably outlive me! Thank you Presto!!

I was curious how well it would work bases off the price and let me tell you, its amazing! I use this several times a week. its easy to clean, even the basket. It fries beautifully and the oil lasts much longer than a skillet or dutch oven. Steaming is quick and perfect. It heats up fairly quickly and maintains heat with out waiting periods bewteen batches. I love thatvthe basket hooks on the side for draining. 10/10 great investment.

I have owned quite a few deep fryers, and always bought the ones with baskets because I thought it would be easier. Now that I own this that I don't HAVE to use the basket, I won't go back. This fryer is the easiest to clean and it's big enough for my family of 4 while also being small enough that it is easy to store. I most likely won't use as a “multi cooker”

This pot is the perfect size for myself and husband. The first thing we made was deep fried battered shrimp and it cooked perfectly with no overheating. The basket is a nice size and actually holds quite a good amount. It also made it easy to get the shrimp in and out of the hot oil without splashing. It rests on the rim of the pot to allow it to drain. Clean up was super easy.

Easy to use. Heats up quickly. Does a great job of deep frying. I use very light oils like sunflower oil. Just make sure you're careful and have it on a solid surface. Does a great job. Anxious to try it on steaming food as well. Fish came out perfect. I cook with it outside.

Love this thing, clean up is easy, cooking is good, ive made squash, ive made nuggets, made tenders and ive made gumbo in this thing. Stews great and fries even better. Manual is very helpful and gives good recipes as well. Very easy to control tempurature even just using as a novice

it seems to work so far so i dont want to give it a horrible review. its not really what i was wanting. some of the things that i didnt expect and i dont like about it and i want to help others out in their decision to buy is the lid wont sit on it with the basket, the basket is smaller than ideal the entire product is smaller than i anticipated and i have to assemble the legs and handles which seem wobbly even tightened. i also dont like the cord as half of it sticks to the other half magneticly and its not my thing. i guess for the price it does what it needs to tho.

Overall a very good product for the money. My one complaint was with the delivery service who just left it 2 feet away from the road under my mailbox after stating by email that it was delivered to my door. Luckily I was home at the time. I have had mail stolen from my mailbox before so I will never use Walmart delivery again

it wasnt clear youd have to assemble some of it. the screws you use to put on the legs %26 handles where stuck. screwed in to hard. I was lucky to get them lose by using some oil. turning clockwise to losen them then counter clockwise to get them unstuck. it was way more difficult then it should have been. Over all once you can really get it together its a fine fryer.

I have an earlier model of this very same Presto Kettle and it is by far superior. The basket on this latest model is very shallow. Not happy that I bought this latest model but will use my old basket in the new one and see how that works. I would urge Presto to bring back the deeper basket. (Probably cheaper for Presto to produce a shallow one than the original deeper one?)
