Presto Kitchen Kettle Ceramic Deep Fryer/Multi-Cooker

I just received mine. I am super excited qabout usung it! I have not had one in 13 years and missed my old one. My first Presto Deep Fryer lasted 12 years with constant use feeding a family of six! There is nothing like french fries or tator tots or home-made egg rolls for examle from a deep fryer! This brand is superior imķquality.It is associated with many hazardous family mealsls and this one will probably outlive me! Thank you Presto!!

Love it. This is a replacement for a previous version that had black non-stick coating which came off! I was happy to see that Presto makes a ceramic lined electric pot as ceramic coatings are safer. Still must be careful about using sharp knives or utensils to stir with . Silicon only! I cook chicken, vegetables %26 eggs in my bathroom on the sink. My children are house guests and use the kitchen soo I cook in the bathroom. It works out well. I do not use oil for deep frying as my cardiologist says NO. The basket is great for boiling hard boiled eggs so they are easy to lift out. Enjoy!

It really is a multi cooker. I have already boiled spaghetti and potatoes. It gets hot fast and cooks fast. The basket seems a bit short in comparison to the size of the cooker, but I think it makes it safe to use. Which to me, that's great. The cord is a break away which is also great because I have another Presto product that doesn't break away and sometimes when I move that skillet it rips the cord right out of the pan. With the break away nothing gets ripped out. This cooker is small enough to put in tight areas. I would have gotten the bigger size, but this is absolutely perfect in size for a family of 2. Its very easy to clean, its durable, its a decent price and it is just perfect on so many levels. I totally recommend this product. If you feel compelled, I would even dare buy the bigger one for a larger family.

Omg!! this lil baby is awesome I fried chicken in it and I didn't use the basket. i was able to put 5 whole jumbo wings in there at once and it cooks soooooo perfect. This baby heats up in seconds and cleans up with no scrubbing. I would love a bigger one and I may just make that investment.

I mistakenly ordered this item thinking it was the next size up. This is a small pot that can boil water for noodles etc with the heat temperature element that one could make small recipes in. I gave this to a friend to return to Walmart for me for a refund but instead she wanted it and reimbursed me instead. Cup sizes are confusing in advertisements. This one I also wanted for stewing chicken in but too small for one whole chicken.

it seems to work so far so i dont want to give it a horrible review. its not really what i was wanting. some of the things that i didnt expect and i dont like about it and i want to help others out in their decision to buy is the lid wont sit on it with the basket, the basket is smaller than ideal the entire product is smaller than i anticipated and i have to assemble the legs and handles which seem wobbly even tightened. i also dont like the cord as half of it sticks to the other half magneticly and its not my thing. i guess for the price it does what it needs to tho.

it wasnt clear youd have to assemble some of it. the screws you use to put on the legs %26 handles where stuck. screwed in to hard. I was lucky to get them lose by using some oil. turning clockwise to losen them then counter clockwise to get them unstuck. it was way more difficult then it should have been. Over all once you can really get it together its a fine fryer.

Overall a very good product for the money. My one complaint was with the delivery service who just left it 2 feet away from the road under my mailbox after stating by email that it was delivered to my door. Luckily I was home at the time. I have had mail stolen from my mailbox before so I will never use Walmart delivery again

I have a big one with 3 baskets but it takes a lot of counter space and oil. So I purchased this one. The setup if very easy. It does not use as much oil as opposed to the bigger ones and it doesn't take up much counter space. The basket isn't as big as it may appear in the photo. Frying whole chicken wings you can fit 3-4, depending on the size. It can hold 2 drumsticks. Overall after cooking a few different things, it doesn't meet my expectations, so I'll be returning this item.

The heating element does not work well. It only hold heat at the highest temperature of 400 degrees. Any lower and the temperature drops very low and cannot fry any thing. Waste of money. I have a bigger fryer from the same company and have been using it for years but wanted to get something small since it's only 2 of us now but this does not work.
