ZOOB RacerZ Car Designer

This toy surprised me. I expected it to be like other similar toys we have tried, but it is so much better. The size of the pieces were easy to work with and would work well for smaller hands as well as bigger hands. The ease of snapping and unsnapping the pieces was great also. You do not end up with sore fingers like you do with some other brands. They are tight and secure, but little hands could do it on their own. The directions made it easy for my youngest to complete the cars on his own since they contain pictures with the words to make it easy. The finished size was much bigger than I thought it was going to be also. It kept my son busy for hours, and I love that you can make all three cars at the same time. You do not need to dismantle one to make another which is great. We were able to race all the cars and create even more fun since there was more than 1 car. Makes it nice when you have more than 1 child, too.

The box was entirely mangled. The seller made it right. The contents seem ok, i was trying not to open anything because this is a gift. I think everything is intact. Perfect customer service. The actual set looks really fun.

This build set is very unique from the picture on the package as well as the name. This a great kit with enough pieces included to build a variety of cars, trucks and other things. There are 3 booklets included in the package that are very easy to see how to build the 13 suggestions to get you started. After that you can build many items using your imagination. There are enough pieces to build more than one car at a time so the child can use them in interactive play. The pieces come together very easy too. They are also very durable. The way that the wheels actually move is really nice. My grandson loves building things and he really enjoys this kit a lot. The age was 6+ which is very appropriate I thought. If you have a child who likes to build using Legos, this would be a nice change. This kit is different than playing with Legos or building blocks as it gives a child a new and exciting option to create many different items besides cars and trucks. I wasn't familiar with the brand but am impressed with this kit. I would definitely recommend this for anyone considering buying a build kit for a child and expansion sets to continue the fun.

As a child I loved toys that allowed me to build. The days of Lincoln Logs, tinker toys, and erector sets are long gone so now that I have grandchildren I have had difficulty finding fun, interactive toys for them to enjoy UNTIL NOW!! I love these ZOOB products. After receiving this kit first and playing with my grandsons I went out and bought all of the other sets on the shelf at Walmart. Interactive, educational, durable and entertaining - these toys allow for dexterity as well as imagination. I will continue to purchase all of the future products of ZOOB for gifts for any child not just my grandsons. We have built forts, race cars and cake decorating sets for a birthday party. I like that I can disinfect these items with soap and water or a little lysol spray when the kids are sick or if other children are playing with them. I am not a fan of many of the toys on the market due to the limitations or the low quality therefore I am very selective and quality motivated with my purchases. An amazing excellent fun product for kids of all ages. My sons enjoyed playing with the grandsons during the Super Bowl. A forever product to be handed down, collected and enjoyed. Love these toys.

Hello, we really got this so our Grandkids would have something to play with when visiting. Well first my wife thought she better get to know the ZOOB Designer. She had more fun putting it together and changing the shape of the Car. By the time our Grandkids came over she was a "expert". One of the really nice things is the pieces are large enough so that us "older" generation can put them together. The kids have been having as much fun as the rest of us. Another nice "extra" is you can add to the kit so that you can keep it growing and gives you a wonderful thought for a gift. The price will not brake the bank and unlike a lot of others toys it is not just a one time put together and then your done. Give it a try and see who can make the best looking Car. Just remember to share with the Kids! Looking for many more hours of fun and laughter.

I chose this set for my 3 grandson's, ages 6, 7 & 11., for their belated Christmas present because they are so smart and creative. In two days times, I saw a large assortment of different types of vehicles made by the boys! It really brought out the imaginations! What a delight to watch the boys play with their finished product to race and chase each other with, instead of being glued to their electronics! So glad I chose this set! THEY LOVED IT!

This kit was tested by children in my family who range in age from 5 to 12......The older ones have numerous Lego and K'nex sets and really weren't all that impressed with this set, but they seemed to enjoy helping the younger ones build. The 5 and 6 yr olds liked that the wheels move on the vehicles.. but racing them was not always possible since they frequently came apart....The directions were a bit confusing for some of the builds, even for the older children who have Lego and K'nex experience and even an adult....but, that didn't matter to the younger ones since they weren't interested in following the directions and enjoyed building their own creations...The kit contains 76 Zoob pieces, 12 wheels, and three instruction booklets with instructions for 13 builds. The Zoob pieces are fairly easy to snap together so that is a plus for younger children...and they seem fairly sturdy, but if they should get damaged they come with a lifetime free replacement offer.

The Zoob Car Designer kit was fun for my 12 yr old son to build. It contains 76 pieces that lock together using a "ball and joint" type locking system. Many ways to be creative with these pieces and build either the cars in the directions or what ever your child can come up with on his own which is what my son did. The only issue we found with the set was in the directions. The directions for one of the cars was not accurate. Both my son and my husband tried to build the one car via the directions and it wasn't possible to build it the way the directions show. I got this toy for my 12 year old son and was surprised to learn that he had already used these in school. He enjoys building cars and trucks so having 12 wheels with this set was awesome. I am happy they don't fall apart like lego cars do and that his little toddler sister can touch and play with them and they crumble like legos. The parts are a good size not to small if baby finds them. I am happy my son enjoys building with this set.

My Grand Daughter enjoys building things with various building toys such as the snap together blocks. It is something that we enjoy doing together so I thought this would be a nice variation. Its strength and its weakness are from the same feature. Most of the connections articulate. This is fun in that one can create different shapes but it seemed to frustrate my granddaughter that the assembly didn't hold its shape very well. We made several designs that rolled. One cannot truly call the assembly a car or a truck because it really doesn't look much like a car or a truck. My granddaughter built one item and was rolling it around and I asked her what it was and she told me it was a remote controlled video camera. Her imagination was fully engaged. It was fun and she enjoyed it and she enjoyed free forming the designs as opposed to trying to build anything shown in the assembly instructions. She would build something and then take it apart and build something different. She stayed with it for nearly an hour. That is pretty good for her. Some of the connections are not simple for little hands to do. I can also see the need for a greater variety of pieces than the ones that came in the beginner kit. I will check to see if there is a more advanced kit with more options.
