[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already knew I love ginger chews, but I typically buy a different brand, and I choose the plain ginger variety rather than the flavored ones. I was excited to have the opportunity to try a different brand and flavor and was happy to be sent a free package of Prince of Peace mango flavored ginger chews in exchange for my review. I know many people eat ginger chews for nausea, and I have used them for that purpose, however, I just like them as a sweet little snack from time to time. I also experience dry mouth occasionally from medication I take, so I keep some individually wrapped ginger chews in my purse at all times, in case I need to moisten my mouth. They work great for that and really get the salivary glands pumping. Sorry for the TMI. I love spicy ginger, which is why I typically prefer the plain ginger chews, but the flavored variety was a nice change. The mango flavor is a little subtle in these chews, because of course ginger is very powerful and I am sure it is difficult for any flavor to compete. But the mango flavor did help to tame the spiciness, which some may prefer. The mango also did not taste artificial in any way at all. They are really good! I have been making an effort to spend my money more ethically these days. was not familiar with Prince of Peace Enterprises prior to this, but the name of the company is definitely interesting. I did some research and learned that they also male Tiger Balm, which I think everyone has heard of. I also learned that the creator and owner of the company is a Chinese immigrant and a devout Christian. I am not religious, I consider myself to be an agnostic atheist, and I am wary of people and companies who use religious messaging in their marketing model. All too often it is insincere, and the people who own and run the company do not actually embrace true Christian ideals and values. From my limited research, however, it appears the Ken Yeung, the owner, is the real deal. He does a lot of philanthropic work, both locally and in his home country of China. He gives back and helps others via his own foundation, and also by working with local charities in his home city of San Francisco. He sounds like a great person and an example of what businesses ought to be doing. I will definitely choose this brand from now on, because of the philanthropic work they do!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tasty, little soft chews are bursting with flavor. They're so effective at soothing your throat and packaging wonderfully with individually packaged pieces. They're 100% all natural too. A great value for such a delicious product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are absolutely delicious! The mango and ginger go really well together to make for a small refreshing treat. Usually ginger chews are too heavy on the ginger side, but these struck the perfect balance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mango ginger chews are delicious! The mango adds a fruity sweetness that balances the spicy ginger perfectly. They’re chewy without being too sticky, individually wrapped, and made with simple, natural ingredients. Great for soothing the stomach or just as a tasty treat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are interesting, idk how I feel about the taste. It definitely covers up the ginger taste but they still kinda have a spicy zing to them which I don’t like. The mango is good though. I think they are good for people who want to be healthier and it’s great because you can chew and chew and chew forever on these things so it would prevent someone from snacking too much if that’s what you want to avoid. Overall they taste a little weird but I like the health benefits. Very squishy sticky texture when chewing too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, these Mango Ginger Chews are seriously sooo good! 💛 The mango flavor is sweet and tropical, and then the ginger sneaks in with this spicy little kick that totally wakes up your taste buds. It’s such a fun combo—like candy but a little fancy and natural at the same time. The chewy texture is super satisfying, even though they can get kinda sticky on your teeth. I love that they’re non-GMO, gluten free, and feel a little healthier than regular candy. The little individually wrapped pieces make them easy to toss in my bag for school or just have as a quick pick-me-up snack. Still, if you like sweet with a little spice, you’ll totally love these! 🌸
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would not rebuy for myself, but great for people who enjoy ginger candy's! They individual packing is convenient for sharing as well. The mango flavor was not as strong as I would have liked for myself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my favorite things in the world. Taste ok, I'm sure plenty of people would like them though. I generally like ginger so I feel like it was the mango throwing me off, would definitely be willing to try other flavors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is simple I like because y’all all individually wrapped the texture is kind of like taffy and Tootsie Roll mixed together. The flavor is pretty good but it’s also has like a hint of spice towards the end but overall pretty good and I’m not a big ginger fan.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ginger is an acquired taste. I took a chance trying these and just wasn’t a huge fan. A little too chewy and tacky for my taste. I will say I put them out in my house and guests who love ginger really enjoyed it and helped to settle their stomach.
