Proctor Silex Electric Food Chopper & Mini Food Processor, 2-Speed, 3.5 Cup, Gray

I own an 11-cup, "classic" Cuisinart food processor, which I'm happy with, but, I wanted a smaller food processor to handle food prep jobs that don't require an 11-cup capacity. This Proctor Silex food processor fits the bill, nicely. The processor is lightweight, compact and doesn't take up much counter space, but, its 3.5-cup capacity is large enough to make pesto, guacamole, salad dressings, dips, etc. There is no leakage from the processor cup, when processing liquids. The motor offers a "low" and "high" speed, and it is more than powerful enough to process ingredients effectively and with gusto, on either setting. Recommended.

Being a smaller appliance I wasn't sure if it would do a great job. I am so pleased with this food processor. It did a great job chopping onions and grinding ham for ham salad. I highly recommend this product and the price just added to my complete satisfaction.

I chose the proctor silex food chopper/mini food processor because of it having a handle on the cup. Less apt to drop it bc of having a good grip on it. The motor is not loud, either.

Bought a competitor and returned it and purchased this one and it works 10 times better strongly recommend

I really have not used it alot but the 2 times I did I feel it did not do the job right or maybe I am not using it correctly! I need to use it again to see!! Maybe I added too much but the blade was not working correctly I! Will come back with follow up

The product was packaged well and arrived in good condition, I however hope to be able to return the processor. I do not think it can be adequately cleaned and would be a hazard to use. There is a gasket that sits under the post that is inside of the bowl and both the post and the gasket are attached to the bowl and are not removable. There is no way to clean under that gasket and I think that food would get bacterial contamination from usage of this processor. Maybe that is why the instructions state that the processed food should be used immediately and should not be stored. The bowl seems sturdy and the processor is a good size for smaller task. I am disappointed as I had hoped this would be a replacement for my old cracked smaller sized processor.
