I bought this anvil pruner to use along with my Fiskars by-pass pruner. Great quality. The anvil pruner allows me to perform tasks that the by-pass pruner is not suited for. This is a powerful, dependable, quality pruner!
these pruners are the best, only ones I use so I bought a pair for gifting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fiskar power lever anvil pruner is strong. My husband tried them out in one of our pine trees. The pruner was sharp enough to trim the pine tree. After cutting a couple of branches, the pruner was still sharp. Will use them to trim other branches.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Pruner for Effortless Gardening! The Fiskars Titanium Anvil Pruner is an absolute game-changer for anyone who enjoys gardening or landscaping. I've been using it for a few weeks, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance and quality. First, the titanium-coated blade is incredibly sharp and durable. It slices through branches and stems with minimal effort, making quick work of thick or woody plants that might otherwise strain other pruners. The anvil design provides excellent leverage, so even tougher cuts feel effortless. The ergonomic handle is a standout feature. It's comfortable to hold, even during extended use, and the non-slip grip ensures precision, even when working with damp or sweaty hands. I also appreciate the pruner's lightweight build, which reduces hand fatigue. Another big plus is the low-friction blade coating that prevents sap and debris from sticking. It's a small detail that makes a big difference, especially when working with resinous plants. Durability-wise, Fiskars lives up to its reputation. The pruner feels solid and well-constructed, and I have no doubt it will hold up to regular use for years to come. If you're looking for a high-quality tool to keep your garden in pristine shape, I can't recommend the Fiskars Titanium Anvil Pruner enough. It's well worth the investment for its sharpness, comfort, and efficiency!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pruner worked great on the overgrown sprouts from a tree in my front yard. The handles were easy to squeeze but not so easy that it felt like the pruner was going to slip. There was enough resistance that I felt in control of the cut the whole time. I can't wait to continue using these in the spring and summer.
Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because pruners were not constructed with a way to hang them on a tool hook for storage. However, they are well built and work as advertised.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Fiskars Power Lever Anvil Pruners - they've made pruning a breeze! The sharp blade and effortless lever action make quick work of even the toughest branches, leaving me more time to enjoy my garden. These pruners have become my go-to tool for all my gardening needs - I couldn't recommend them more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Fiskars Power-Lever Anvil Pruner for a few months now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The durability is outstanding—it handles tough branches with ease without showing signs of wear. The comfort of the handles makes extended use a breeze, even for someone with smaller hands like me. Its precision is remarkable, allowing for clean, accurate cuts every time. I also feel safe using it thanks to the secure grip and sturdy design. Maintenance is simple, requiring only occasional cleaning and sharpening. Overall, this pruner is an excellent tool for both beginners and experienced gardeners.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fiskars Power-Anvil Pruners deliver excellent cutting power for thick branches, with a durable, ergonomic design. I like that this is a safety feature to lock the pruners but it can be a little difficult to open.
These Fiskars pruners have a reputation of NOT cutting straight, the blade hits the anvil off center and does a REAL POOR job of cutting Anything ! I've bought and returned FOUR of them for that reason. You can't tell by looking in the plastic packaging if they're poor cutters but Trust Me, a HIGH majority of them are off center as all get out ! ! ! Try Corona or Gilmour brand instead. Real disappointing units from a name like FISKARS ! ! ! The remainder of the pruner is of Very good quality but quality control let TOO many get by with this Problem !! !! !!
