As a dental clinician, I do recommend it for patients that are undergoing orthodontic treatment with aligners. It helps getting it out, specialy when it is tight and retentive.
Comes in berry handy. Helps a lot better than trying to take them off with your fingers and it pulls back your nails. It comes with 3 of them incase you loose any, there's always a spare.
I don't like the idea of sticking my fingers in my mouth all the time so I bought this tool. Using it is pretty self explanatory. My aligners are often very tight and this helps grab the edge at the base of my moloars so I can pull them out. It is hard plastic easy to clean and fits in my case.
Perfect to remove my aligners
The item is perfect
These are amazing !! My nails are super weak after getting acrylics for so long and I couldn't get my aligners out without a knife 😬 I pretty much ate soft foods and protein shakes until these came in! These make taking the aligners out super easy! I take them out from the back side of my teeth and they pop right out! They seem strong so hopefully they last while.
The tool is super easy to use and small enough to fit anywhere in my pocket or aligner case, but big enough to use easily. I wish it came in more colors!
This retainer tool is probably useful for someone with very short nails or artificial nails, but in my case, I've found that I can remove the retainers better on my own.
I have Invisalign retain the first time I use this. It popped off one of my buttons and hold my retainer in. It was not easy to use. It's easier to use my fingers to pop out my retainers when I changed them on a weekly basis.
It didn't work as easily as advertised. I may use it to loosen things when things are tight with a new tray, but after a couple of days I will use my fingers as before.
